Above average course with relaxed staff and atmosphere. Much better choice than Great Outdoors course in the area. Surrounded by houses but they are not a problem and course is quiet without road noise. Greens are in great shape and designed well. Book it.

Staff is friendly, course is legit challenge, greens fine.
Downside - several holes adjacent to interstate, most holes surrounded by vinyl-sided RV resort type structures that are kind of ugly, very slow pace of play. Wedgefield course 20 min away is much better

Very nice, family run rural course. Best option by quite a bit in Goderich area. Pride of ownership is very obvious and golf course design interesting and picturesque. Will return

Don’t bother. Very little grass anywhere, lumps of weeds on nasty greens. Should close it down. Those who rated it highly should stop reviewing so ad not to lead others astray. Even by rural Texas standards, this place is brutal.

Typical rural Texas track. Greens were decent, the rest not great. Dated and provides locals with affordable place to play.

Greens are good. Course is a boring up and down cow pasture with fairways and rough in poor condition. So many poor courses in CA due to water and money issues. Why people give misleading 4 and 5 stars is puzzling. Not helping at all. Be more objective.

Noce staff. Good greens. Front 9 is flat and bit of a cow pasture. Back 9 more interesting but fairways and rough patchy.

Greens were very good. Course has lots of elevation change and helpful to have someone know the course (e.g best to use short irons off some tees). Fairways and rough were not great. Course appears to be in decline

Tee time delayed 45 min due to no carts available and men’s league so did not finish round. Greens good but rest is very shabby. Members play ‘find a decent a lie in fairway to play from golf’. Like severe winter rules. Younger guy in proshop was great but they had a very miserable older guy before noon. Overall, a course not worth playing despite potential of lay out and scenery. Korean owners simply don’t give a toss about the place

Pros: Challenging and interesting layout. Greens fast and punishing if above hole

Cons: Garbage thrown along course in bushes rough etc through out - who does that? Dog feces on golf path that staff drove around in cart. Grass in many bunkers that are hard-packed.

Fairways are very patchy in places.

Has a vibe of not doing well financially

Course is in rough shape for the most part. Lady in proshop would clearly like to be elsewhere. Even the real estate lining the course is worn and kind of sad. Better options to be had

This is an excellent course from all perspectives at Golfnow prices. Bunkers could be better but not terrible. Tee boxes, fairways and greens could not be better. Go ahead and book it

Pace on front 9 was good then course allows a few twosomes to start at 10 and they were not put together and lacked the good sense to group up. Very slow back 9.

Fairways and tee boxes were brutal. Lay-out boring and not much to work with in this part of California. Greens punched but ok. Staff was great. This course is pretty bad overall and the previous ratings seem excessive to the positive side. Would like to see more objective reviews so know which courses to avoid despite the low cost
