Indian Valley Golf Course
Played On 05/19/2019Hidden gem
This course remains one of the best kept secrets in the Greensboro area.
The greens are always phenomenal.
The course is challenging in ways that most new courses are not. You won't bomb your way around this place. This is a shot-makers course.
My only complaint is that the yardages from the red tees are difficult for my wife. But she's not a long hitter so that's maybe not the course's fault so much.
This course is a very fair test and a welcome change from the bomb and gouge layouts everywhere else.
Jamestown Park Golf Course
Played On 04/27/2019Five Hour Death March
The course is fine.
The greens are phenomenal.
The pace of play is horrendous. Took five whole hours. No ranger to keep groups moving. Too many tee times too close together.
Love this course, but they have to do something about pace. The greens are wonderful, but the average golfer can't putt them and everyone plays like they're on tour. You shouldn't plumb bob an 8-footer for double bogey.
This really kills a nice course.
Play during the week here.
Go somewhere else on weekends.
Salem Glen Country Club
Played On 11/05/2016Fun course to play.
Having played almost every course in the area over the past few years, Salem Glen is always a top 3 favorite - and that's out of 50 or so courses in the region that we play.
The facility is top notch, the staff is great, and the grounds crew does a spectacular job with the course. But the layout is the draw. The holes are challenging but fair, and the stadium feel of the course is a super cool addition to most of the holes.
Highly recommended.
Thank you for leaving us with your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the conditions of the course, and we apologize for the slow pace. We want to be the best we can be, so we will make sure this gets relayed to the team.
