Great choice for late September. 15 years gap since last visit. Quite a challenge, when you’ve forgotten what you learned the first visit. Better not wait another 15 years. Might be too much of a challenge at 85 years old!!

Tough Rough
With the damp lush rough and spring grass, weed, shrubbery it was REALY tough. US Open tough.
And starting on the tougher and unforgiving back 9, made it perhaps too hard for 15 plus handicappers? With the spring "clover" growth, one bounce beyond the rough was a list ball.
On the second (front) nine humor was restored. Only one ball eaten up as opposed to six on the first 9.
Factor of the time of year. But really tough.
