6 hour round

Contemplated on walking off a half dozen times. Took 2 hours to play the first 5 holes. Not a single Marshall on the course until 5 mins before shutdown and I think the only lap he did was in the parking lot as that’s right when we made the turn. Its a legit circus out there. Not even a starter making sure people went off on time.

Just a good golf day

Played her twice and both times just a really enjoyable round. Starts with service. Besides the guys upfront being always welcoming, I sliced one boarder tree line right on 8 and the ranger was looking for my ball when I drove up to find it. I actually ended up finding it even down the head start, but that’s irrelevant.

Terrible Customer Service

Starter was super unfriendly and did’t seem to care that the tee time he had down for our group was wrong and rushed us off the first tee even though I had email confirmation showing correct time. Facility didn’t even provide water or ice on a 89 degree day and reiterated there were cart girls out on the course only to find out there was only one. After 7 holes, two phone calls into the pro shop (which was no help might I add and didn’t care) we ran into the cart girl who then said, she couldn’t serve us because she was to tired from working since 7:30a in the morning. Luckily we were right by the one and only snack shack/place to get drinks (between 7-8 holes) and other than that, not a single sign of anyone out on the course to serve or monitor pace of play. Our group played OCN yesterday and Celebration club just earlier in the morning, and there is no comparison when it comes to service.

Stopped after 9

Probably the worst maintained condition course I’ve seen this time of year in Florida period. Pace of play was awful I had to stop after nine. Absolutely nothing appealing to bring me back so I’m just going to forget like that 9 ever happened. Quite sad how a once hosted PGA tournament and Q-School qualifying course could turn so bad. Did I mention outrageously over priced. Sad.

I am not a Florida resident but have viewed open tee times and see that the price is $75. Would you recommend a better deal than that?

Extremely Slow

First time playing here and right from the get go, I knew it was going to be long as we didn’t tee off till 9:39 for a 8:59 tee time which I feel happens quite frequently. Plus, no Marshall’s out there trying to push the pace of play. Don’t care what course it is or how well your playing, it kills the round when you can’t get any rhythm when your waiting 10-15 mins per shot.

Expected more

Was pretty fired up to play The Bay and walked away feeling unsatisfied. Partly because there wasn’t one hole I think I’ll remember but more importantly, not the friendliest of staffs. Got to the course an hour early to hit balls and didn’t get a cart till 15 mins before tee time in which they rushed us (only a twosome) with 3 foursomes in a log jam ahead of us and no one behind us for 30 mins. That was bizzare. Nice course, and we’ll kept but fed not as impressed as I’d thought I’d be.

Not enjoyable

The course was in good shape but they booked a tournament in the afternoon and was never mentioned to us. Marshall’s followed us majority of time and basically were rushing us off the course the minute we started. Wouldn’t even allow us to enjoy our round which was very Unappreciated especially when your paying $140 a round.
