Nice layout. Too wet, sprinkle less when raining. Aerate greens.
Everyone off 10th tee. Since there were 2 groups on tee, ask proshop to play 1st hole. He said no way, despite only 11 cars in parking lot.
Going to back nine, there were 2 new groups in front of me. (Not league) Asked proshop to halt those groups until I continue my round. New guy said I don't know. After playing next 2 holes in 25 minutes I quit...

OK layout, due to course reduction/modification a few years ago. Good conditions. Nice carts w/ great GPS screens. Very good range balls.
Would have been a good experience, except for slow play - waiting on every shot. NO rangers, but plenty of people doing nothing???

2.5 hours front 9 on an executive course with few people on course is pathetic. Soooooo boring.
Cart hole map is useless as layups are everywhere. Can't figure yardage.
Oh yeah, they want $79.
Go somewhere (anywhere) else...

Great collection of varying holes. Long-short, right-left, up-down, wide-narrow, easy-hard.
Always a little wet due to clay (and over watering).
Beware, plan on 4-5 hour round...

Very good conditions, despite heavy rain night before.
Shorter & easier than most resort courses, but a fine challenge.
Practice academy looks great!

Interesting layout with extra challenging holes. Not lengthy, but tight, tree lined fairways. Elevation changes. Smooth (not fast) greens. Somewhat wet conditions.

Don't let short yardage fool you. With plenty of blind tee shots - you cannot over power.

Uninviting pro shop staff. Nice cart barn & beer cart people.
Very good layout, tough course from back tees.
HOWEVER- Soaked, fungus, dirt-spots, bumpy greens. Soaked, diseased, baked, divots galore fairways & tees. Unkept, non-raked, stone ridden, extra firm bunkers. Weeds overgrowing edges everywhere. Weeds growing high to block green & fairway views.
Not worth the money or time to play

Golfnow + course should give advanced notice that greens were just deep aerified & top dressed sanded & NOT mowed.

Interesting, yet needs maintenance help. Greens are small and roll well. Better get your yardages correct on some quirky & blind holes.

Very nice layout, Good condition. Interesting holes design. BUT slow play ruins experience. Took 3.5 hours for 9 holes. Usually can play 18 in 2 hours, when players let me pass...
Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club

Many tees/locations for various levels of golfers.
Extra large greens are smooth, yet a little slow (compared to championship courses).
Challenging sand, trees, hills, water. greens.
A great variety of holes- long/short, open/tight, straight/dogleg, uphill/downhill, etc.
