The greens were in horrible shape. Had we known they were that bad, we would not have spent $61 for 9 holes. I’ve always found River Vale to be overpriced

The greens were in terrible shape. Had we known, we wouldn't have paid $61 each for 9 holes. Even when the course is in better shape, I find it to be a bit overpriced.

This was not our first time playing here and course was in sad shape this time around. Greens were not cut and unbelievably slow. For the price, this was a rip-off. Would not recommend.

Greens were a little beat up (repair your ball marks, people) but overall it was a great day. Staff was super friendly, pace of play was excellent. We’ll be back!

The course was soaking wet and cart path only (not their fault)..I can accept that. Still, the course was not in good condition (aside from the water). There were inexperienced, rude golfers, extra riders in carts, overall a very lax atmosphere. Maybe we caught it on a bad day but it was certainly not worth what we paid.

A bit overpriced for the condition of the course but it was a holiday weekend. I would play here again . . . just not for $110.

This was a challenging course with beautiful surroundings. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The bar wasn’t open but we grabbed a canned beverage after our round and enjoyed the covered patio anyway. Good deal.

The greens were a bit beat up, but hey, it’s December. Pace of play was NOT good but we were thrilled to be out this late in the season. Normally Orchard is a nice course when we’re short on time.

This course is extremely hilly and was cart path only, perhaps due to the rain the day prior? Because of the terrain, I’m not sure one could take the cart closer to one’s ball even when the course dries out. This resulted in taking several clubs down to ball to get a better look. That, in turn, affected pace of play and feeling rushed by a twosome behind us (4). The greens had just been aerated, which we weren’t aware of. $70+ for these conditions was a bit pricey but I’m sure it comes back to supply and demand.

Been wanting to revisit this course. Course was rather beat up. Waited to tee off. Played w a dad and 8 year old who hacked his way through the course, with no etiquette. We were not allowed to go out as a twosome. Painful.

We got a very nice deal on Golfnow. There was an outing that was not quite done by our tee time so we had to wait a little. No big deal. The course and greens were in excellent condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

The Pines 9 is under construction. We were hitting over heavy machinery, listening to heavy machinery and on one hole, couldn't get near the green (even on cart path). Sand traps are currently gravel, not sand.. Woodlands was not under construction and was fine. The layout is so tight that balls are flying in from all over the place -- very dangerous. Even at the hot deal price, this course was not worth it.
