We had the opportunity to play the Arizona Grand for the second time. Our previous trip was 12 years ago and there were a few changes, the most noticeable was the island green is gone. NOT a bad thing. The front 9 was very golfer friendly which was nice for my wife and the back 9 was very challenging. Target golf with small greens made the back much more difficult and less enjoyable for my wife. It didn't help my score. Fairways were in good shape, greens were a little slower than expected. I played Aquila a couple years ago and it was our favorite course of the week. This year it wasn't as enjoyable. The course is in pretty good shape but the staff didn't make us feel welcomed. I realized the first tee time of the day is hard one but at least say good morning.

Recommending the course because of the layout and condition.

Overall the course was well worth the fee to play. Tee boxes, and fairways were in very good shape. With the exception of one green, which had some damage, the greens were in good shape. Slightly slower than most and a little shaggy which prevented a good roll.

Really slow play from the two groups ahead of us. A marshal would have been nice to see.

I will play it again.

I usually don't ripe a course but this is the worst excuse for a golf course. Target golf is just that but hitting the target and getting penalized by poor construction is unacceptable. NO ruff, just rocks. Targets are hard to see.

Fairways had way to many bare spots. Greens were fast and true but would not hold a shot.

Good news was I did get to witness one of the foursome get his first hole in one on #8. It did make us give a better rating than this course deserves

Kokopeli is worth the money for a heavy use muni. The GPS / Mapping could use some updating to prevent penalty strokes.

Heavy undulations so don't expect a flat lie.

Overall a good course to challenge your game, deep undulations, challenging greens. It was nice to have the GPS navigation but the mapping needs improved or the course should mark the course better to give a better layout.

Greens were quick not fast and smooth.

Overall Ken McDonald is one of the best muni courses in the area. Tees and fairways were in great shape, greens ran smooth but were a little slow.

One big complaint was the overbooking and delayed tee times. I understand filling every slot but delaying tee times by 30 minutes is not acceptable, I didn't finish the last two holes due to the slow play. Need a Marshall

Truly a great value for a municipal course. The greens were in great shape, running true and better than average speed.

Fairways were in good condition.

San Pedro is a diamond in the desert. The greens had some character and were in great shape. The Tee boxes and Fairways need some attention as they had more weeds than grass. There had been several storms in the area so this may be why the tees and fairways hadn't been mowed in a couple days.

The course is not one of the better Tucson city courses. The staff were great and the course wasn't in the best of conditions. It looked like the maintenance crews were working on limited budgets and had to skimp in areas. Kudos to the staff if this is true.

Carts were old an in need of replacement/repair. Mapping of course was poorly marked.

GVR provides a great golf experience. A fairly easy driving course with wide fairways, (if you miss bad you do get penalized). The large undulating greens ran quick and true and tested your green reading abilities. The course was well maintained.

A little slow on pace of play, mostly due to one or two groups playing from the wrong tees.

This is a true gem. The overall course conditions doesn't rate as pristine but it is better than a moderate rateing. The greens ran smooth and were quicker than most. I will put this course on my come back again list.

A forgiving course that makes you think. Several great risk and reward holes. The greens were a little slow but had some character to them. Overall for early spring golf well worth the fees.

Tee time was delayed 40 minutes due to over booking. The course was average in design and play was extremely slow. The greens were in terrible condition, fairways and rough were fair.

Would not go back.

The greens were not in the best of shape, but for early February they were not bad. The majority of the course was in the dormant stage of growth.

Very disappointed in the range, very old balls that were maybe flying 70% at best.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I would say for the money it was worth it but nothing to write home about.

I would have rated this course/experience higher if it wasn't for the cart path only restriction. The record rain for three days dampen the experience, However I will go back. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. They made the difficult weather conditions more than bearable. I look forward to playing here again when the staff can have the course in top condition.
