Played On 09/19/2016Greens in poor nick ruined enjoyment of the round, but otherwise well worth a try
This is a nine hole course, but to make it 18 they have a second tee for each hole in a slightly different position - a clever idea.
Course isn't flat so gives your legs a nice work-out while enjoying the countryside.
When I teed off at 12, there was no-one about in the clubhouse, but as I'd booked through teeofftimes (£10 inc. booking fee), I had no problem getting started.
Course is a nice enough challenge for a moderate golfer...but greens were covered in sand and made putting and chipping a frustrating experience...the ball and putter had to be constantly cleaned at each hole, but it made judging pace of shots very difficult.
It was very quiet so was able to get round quickly and the price was very good, so I'd still recommend giving it a try.
