Enjoyed the round at Shipyard. Good condition of course except a few greens were damaged by a mower with strips cut too deep requiring re-sodding. Otherwise in great shape. had rained a lot the week before but was nice. Friendly staff. HGV gets a great rate of $35 per person including cart. We come once or twice a year and play here while in Hilton Head

Barony at Port Royal Golf Club

Barony was a nice course. Good variety of holes. Very wet conditions today after rain. A few greens had some wear and one had patches with 2 types of grass. Well maintained. Very friendly staff and nice practice facilities (driving range, putting and separate chipping areas. Had a slower group ahead so took 415 to play. Robbers row is also similar and nice.

Wonderful course and friendly staff. Excellent practice facilities. Greens in great shape. Variety of different type holes. Shorter distance from white tees then some of the other area courses which makes playing more fun.

We certainly did experience an above normal rainy period. The course has drained quite nicely . The drier Fall conditions have arrived and the course is in fantastic condition.
