Broke Hill Golf Club
Played On 03/31/2017Walked off after the 16th
Appallingly slow, no marshalls on the course, far too many pitch marks unrepaired, members driving off before we had rung the bell, a dull first nine (flat parkland with little variation); better back nine but 4 hours to the 16th is unacceptable.
Don't bother; Lullingstone Park and Pedham Place (both nearby) are much, much better.
Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club
Played On 11/04/2016Friendly course, friendly people
Lovely hill-top course with views of the sea on almost every hole. A few blind greens and several cut into hillsides which makes chipping on interesting!
The course was in great condition, greens were true and v well cared for, the rough punitive but always a visible hazard (I.e. my own fault when I went into it!)
Will return when it's not raining!
Pedham Place Golf Centre - Championship Course
Played On 10/14/2016A really excellent course
Reviews have not always been very positive about Pedham Place but we loved it! A lot of blind pins and sharp doglegs require considerable thought and course management , yet the fairways are generous enough to 'give it go' too!
The greens were extremely quick but well manicured and true.
The buggy paths are a little dilapidated but that's a small point.
If this was a private club, it would have a much stronger reputation! Lovely.
We will all return.
We are disappointed to hear of your experience. We have not had any reports regarding slow play and would have investigated. However 4 to 4 1/2 hours to play a round of golf is acceptable.
The course is in excellent condition and a good test of golf but may not of been to your taste.

We are disappointed to hear of your experience. We hadn't heard of this issue and would have investigated.
The course general takes between 4 to 41/2 hours to play as a fourball.
The course is in great condition and we hope you look to try it again in the future.
