I truly enjoyed the course it's a shame that the back nine has houses (thee front doesn't )but overall it's a great layout a lot of fun and not too difficult. The only it does not have is a club house but he practice area is fine. Greens were excellent and not one issue with the fairways. I like the tee box distances since it allows for all skills to enjoy the course. I say get out and play before rates go up.

It was a little tough early because I had a couple slow groups in front of me. The Ranger was honest and said you might just want to go play the front nine again. However I decided to go play 12 through 18 on the back nine and then play the rest of the front nine and I enjoyed my round . Golf now was absolutely right the greens were aerated and they were not bad but it was honest and that's why I got the rate I got. It's a fun course but I don't think it's as good as the rating that golf digest gives it. By the way I know how golf digest does the ratings and is quite bogus should never go buy them
Lakewood National Golf Club - Commander Course

I love the course and will hate to see it go private but that will be a couple of years our. My only issue is that we did not know that the greens had been aerated. The course did not notify GolfNow (FOUL!!!!). Other wise I love this course and feel that anybody can play it as long as they play the correct tee's. The practice range is excellent and the layout is a fine Arnold Palmer design. Be ready for sand and some elevated greens but it definitely has character.
Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Oaks/Marsh Course
Played On 06/24/2017Afternoon
One of the 3 nines was closed due to verification. The other 2 nines were fine and in great shape. The course starts off with a fun par 5 and keeps you on your toes. I would recommend this course to anybody since you can play the correct tee's per you handicap.
Ray Floyd Gem
Nice course with no real bunkers but rather waste areas. You need to be ready to hit off hardpan but generally a fun course with some nice views. The staff was very good in giving advice and guidance. Greens were in great shape and a course that does not beat you up
White Oaks Country Club

I got a good deal and the course was in good shape. It had been a while since I played it and it seems to be doing well. There are areas that could use some help like the bunkers but at least the staff know what to fix. Pace was nice and a ranger was out keeping things moving. The layout is still a little tight but not long. Overall for $28, it was worth it.
Old Orange at Verandah
Played On 05/30/2017Nice course and forgiving. I did not appreciate the tuck rule for shirts but once I got over that I found a great course. Greens were perfect and overall conditions were great.
Omni Amelia Island Resort - Ocean Links
Played On 05/19/2017Day at the beach
Fun course though not long. The greens were slow and I suspect due to lack of rain and rear of burning. The layout is interesting and you can get lost but it is great playing by the ocean. I got a great rate which made me feel better since it is not worth >$100. Definitely will play again
Harbor Pines Golf Club
Played On 05/01/2017Slow Monday Golf
It started when I got there early to hit balls to warm up and got the bums rush to get paired up with a twosome. This even when I told the starter that I paid for the range. Then the pace of play became an issue as we got stuck behind people with no awareness of people behind them. Finally, the twosome I was paired with quit after 9 which left me wedged behind 2 groups ahead of me and one group behind me hitting golf balls at the. I went back to the club house where they were no use regarding play or refund for back nine that I did not play. It is shame that NJ golf still is poor when it comes to course management. This one is typical
Twisted Dune Golf Club
Played On 04/10/2017Twisted Dunes, early season
Course is in great shape and was empty. Of coarse it was a Monday but got to play alone and work on game. Greens were in excellent shape, the only issue was that some of the green side traps were not raked by previous players. Sad to see but I'm sure the course will regulate as the season progresses. The fairways are perfect and it looks to be a good season
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park
Played On 05/20/2016Long day
The course was in great shape. My issue was that the staff harps on pace of play, though they did nothing to keep it moving. I played 9 holes in 3 hours. I'm not sure how you get 18 holes done in 4.5 hours that way. Again the course is great and a challenge.
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park
Played On 05/20/2016Slow day
Great conditions but slow. That would be fine but the staff brags about pace play, shame they did not assure it
We regret to hear the pace of play was not up to your expectations, come back and see us, let us know how we can make your round better while you're here.

The course was very wet and there were area of missing grass in the fairways. The greens had weeds growing and it appears the course needed some care
Downingtown Country Club
Played On 07/25/2015The dog at DT
Jaworski is doing a good job breathing life into the course. Clubhouse is great and the course conditions were very good. The pace could have been better but the day was great. The greens were in excellent shape and it appears that a lot of work has been done to make this a great course.
Ron Jaworski's RiverWinds Golf & Tennis Club

They need a ranger to keep the pace going. The course is in great shape but the pace was terrible
Ballyowen Golf Club
Played On 10/21/2013Poor course managment of players
Course did not manage tee time seperation and allowed too many people to play off the wrong tee. Also, to chare $100+ at 1:00 in Oct is unacceptable since you most likely won't get the round in. The course is gourgeous and in super shape. It was a shame I could not finis the round and had to wait 10 minutes on each tee.
We thank you for playing at White Clay Creek CC! We will notify our staff of the pace of play concern, we appreciate your feedback. Come back and see us again.
