Was a really nice course but like many has let condition and maintenance slide somewhat. Nice layout. Greens fair but tough. Main problem is slow play due to overbooking. Ended in the dark. No 41/2 hour rounds here.

Course was OK for a busy course. Some holes were not in as good of shape as other courses in the area. Mountain course looked to be in better condition. Greens fast and almost all elevated .

Lacombe is a well looked after course. Last round here of the season was an excellent day. Staff are very helpful. Great deals at clubhouse. Picked up a couple nice shirts.

Ponoka is generally a good course, however on this day they were punching greens on back nine and had just done front nine and had not top dressed so greens were of course horrible and back nine out of play. Should not have been available for golfnow promotion. Disappointed.
