I’ve played this course a number of time, but in the year or so since my previous play through, it’s gone way downhill. The course layout has always been weird/not great, but now the conditions were bad too. My cart was falling apart, and eventually had to be replaced. Greens were shoddy and fairways were overrun by crab grass. They don’t seem to do the same fun tournament they had in the past either

Worst golfing experience I've had in Michigan. They were overbooked and running twenty minutes late by 945. Useless starter and no ranger created a three group backlog on the SECOND hole. Ended up playing behind a very slow fivesome so our twosome ended up joining a threesome to make the waiting less terrible. Round ended up taking close to six hours. At the turn there were a dozen people milling around waiting for carts for a tee time that was already late. The golf itself wasn't even that good. Most of the course was fine but the greens, and some of the hills placements were a joke. All of the greens were sharply sloped, front to back, and they felt it necessary to put some holes a few feet from the front of the greens. Made it about impossible. I will never go back and will go out of my way to tell people to avoid the course.
