Really enjoyable course to play, layout is challenging yet fair. There are a number of holes that really look great from the tee box, that makes you stop and enjoy. Sand traps where some of the best we’ve played in central Florida’ and they are still working on them. Greens good for this time of year only a couple had some small patches, but rolled good, quick and makes you look at the breaks close. Will certainly be back

Like the most recent reviews the course was nice. Fairways were all in pretty good shape, green and ball sat up nicely. Not many bad spots at all. Tees were also in good shape. Some greens are a little spotty but they rolled fine and were all consistent so putting wasn’t an issue. Enjoyed the round and the value is great. Better condition that a few others we’ve recently played. Will be back again soon.

always an enjoyable course to play, fair yet challenging. Greens will make you work but roll true and good speed. Course in very nice shape, well maintained with the exception of a few fairway bunkers that needed a lot more attention.

Since the greens were redone a couple of years ago they are still excellent, roll true and good speed. Rest of course is good just some soggy areas on fairways but we’ve had a lot of rain. Pace of play seemed slow, there was an outing and our group of 3 waited on every shot, Fifth tee had 3 groups on it. But even with that we were done in 4 hours and 5 minutes. Always a fun course to play, will be back again soon

Enjoyed playing there and the new layout is ok. Do miss having two par 5’s on the back instead of 3 par 3’s , but 18 island green is a fun finishing hole. Course is very nice condition and greens perfect just a little slow. Will be back!!!

Check in person needs to understand charges better. We paid partial price to Golfnow and balance to Falcon Fire. Our confirmation information said what was due at course and we were charged a higher amount. Clerk said we had to pay taxes to course, which I showed him taxes were already included in our total cost before paying Golfnow and that should reflect in what we owed at course. He insisted that he had to charge tax for purchase (although it was already covered in total cost) even while showing him we paid tax. After we got home and still frustrated by the way we were treated, reviewed credit charges and apparently the difference wasn’t for paying taxes but rather for an environmental fee per golfer. We have paid that at another course so understand but check in should have known this instead of saying additional tax.

Nice course to get out on while in the area. Got stopped by heavy rains for about 20 minutes on the 7th hole, but we were able to finish. The course drained very well, better than expected. Fairways are pretty good condition and only issue was a few greens had patchy spots. Always enjoy playing here.

Always a pleasure to play here!, worth the 55 minute drive!!! Staff are always very pleasant and friendly. Course is challenging but fair. Good size greens and they are nice to putt on, they don’t break as much as you’d expect.. Always a nice day at Redtail, definitely recommend playing it!!!

It’s a Donald Ross course so the layout is nice. The course has tons of potential but needs a lot more attention to bring it back. Fairways had way too many bald patches, and greens were super slow. The course is laid out well and very fair, not overly tight from the tees. Not a very busy course in the afternoon so played in just over 3 hours. Staff were all super friendly, and valve for the price was very reasonable.

Always enjoy playing here, everything is first class. Course is always in great condition and the layout is very fair. Greens rolled fine even with aeration alert.

Hadn’t played it in awhile and pleasantly surprised. Course is in better condition than before, nice job. Enjoyed our round and will be back. Great value for the money.

First time playing since all the renovations. The course really looks great, very nice changes to the visual looks to the holes. Only problem was that the worse was wet even though we hadn’t had rain for a couple of days. No standing water but we spent a lot of extra time looking for plugged balls. Hole 8 is now a par 5 which it doesn’t seem like they lengthen it, so my 4 felt just like a par not a birdie. Wish they would have left hole 9 a par 5 instead of a shorter par 4.

Course was in great shape,. Greens are excellent since they were redone a couple of seasons ago, not to fast nor slow. Fairways and rough all good as well. Most tee boxes are good, some were being worked on do all tees grouped together but not a problem. Only issue which isn’t the courses fault was got rained on again hard so didn’t get to finish. Our curse since last 3 times playing haven’t gotten to play 17-18 due to rain.

Enjoyed the day out there. Course was in perfect condition; tee boxes, fairways, rough not too long, and greens rolled true and perfect speed for mid handicap players. Staff all friendly and accommodating. Will be back soon.

Really enjoyed this course!! Greens are perfect, roll true and good speed. Course in beautiful condition from tee boxes to greens, especially since we haven’t had much rain the last few weeks. Every one of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. Lucky we got to play before they close until October for course upgrades. Will be back.

Played a several times and always enjoy it. Course always in great condition, tee blocks, fairways, rough, and greens. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Very nice layout that is challenging and fair, especially if you select the proper tee blocks for your game. Will be back!!!

Enjoyed the course first time playing it. Have played the Oaks several times and the Cypress was just as enjoyable. Course is fair and challenging, with no tricked up holes. Greens need a little work but otherwise putting wasn’t too bad. Would recommend and will be back to play again

Enjoyed the day out there, great layout and course is challenging but fair. Greens were a bit slow, but recovering well from being punched a few weeks back. Staff all friendly and helpful. Only a few wet areas on the last two holes, but if I would have hit it in the fairway I wouldn’t h ax vdd ed had to deal with that lol. Would recommend and will be back.

We have played the North course several times and this was first time playing the South. Overall great experience and course is fair but challenging. Course conditions better than other courses in the area and would play again. Only negative was there are a few bad spots on a few greens, but mostly around the edges so didn’t effect putting

This is a fun fair course. Staff always friendly and helpful. A few rough spots in the fairways but overall a good course.
