Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
Played On 12/07/2023Good time.
My buddy and I were just a twosome and were joined with a wonderful couple from Colorado. Had a great time accept for the slow geriatric group ahead of us. Not only did they play at a snails pace but constantly violated the “CARTS >” signs and parking their carts adjacent to the green. We proceeded to jump to the hole ahead of them which of course messed up our scoring but we finished our round in an enjoyable pace.

This is my favorite course. I love all the pine trees so it doesn’t feel like I’m in the desert. Our tee time was 5:32am. The only thing that wasn’t excellent were the greens. Who ever had just “manicured” them did a terrible job. Especially by the cups. There were grass clippings piled and gouges in the surface. On each and every hole mind you. Other than that, the fairways and roughs were wonderful. Staff was great. I’m retired from the USAF and I wish they had a Military discount but they do not. However I still love this course.

This is my favorite course in the NW valley. Fairway were lush for the most part but a few splotches of bare grass in a few places but not enough to spoil play. Greens were wonderful. Not to fast, not to slow and true. Love the pine trees vs desert flora & fauna on most other courses. Restroom facilities were pleasant. Beverage cart Lady was very friendly and courteous, as are all of the staff! I highly recommend this course.

Fairways and greens were so nice and lush. Beautiful day and the carts were assigned and ready to go when we arrived. Bar was open and stocked very well!

Beautiful lush conditions. Greens were true and fun! Did not go in the sand traps so I can’t comment about them. Bring your own beverages as the restaurant/Bar is not open due to the Covid. I’ve been coming here for years and I have to say these are the best conditions I’ve seen here.
Wow - Thank you for the five star review! We are happy to have exceeded your expectations. We love hearing from you and are glad you had a great experience. We look forward to having you back again soon!
Willowbrook Executive Golf Course at Willowcreek Golf Course
Played On 03/19/2018Very pleasing
I had no idea this was an executive course but it was very enjoyable. Met a nice couple from Wisconsin. Greens were fast and true but a huge challenge. Fairways were nice and lush. Sand was nice and puffy. Great little gem of a course.

My buddy and I have played this course several times and have enjoyed it each time. The course as a whole is picturesque and the fairways and greens are awesome. We were behind a men's club tournament and the pace of play was pretty darn good as we finished in 4 hours and 15 minutes. We did not eat there but the girl at the bar upstairs made the best Bloody Mary I've ever tasted. We're not talking vodka and a mix... she made it from scratch! I love this course. It's a great getaway

Played On 05/12/2016Great sandtraps
Don't let the sour grapes of prior golfers sway you from playing this course. It's true the greens are very hard so you have to change your strategy to running your ball up to the green. Sandtraps are the best I've ever played in the west valley. Very soft and "puffy" which can afford you an accurate shot. Larry in the clubhouse genuinely friendly and accommodating. This course is a great little diamond in the rough (no pun intended).

One of my favorite courses ever. Great design, very picturesque. Love all the pine trees ( I hate desert courses). Fairways were great, greens were bumpy but true. Saw alot of wildlife. A couple of coyotes, several rabbits and alot of quail.

Played On 11/07/2015Cart path only
There was a mix up as far as restrictions. I thought I read that cart path only restrictions had been lifted on 27 Oct. But when we arrived we were told no that it was cart path only. Due to my physical limitations I can not play under those restrictions so I requested my money back. The manager was extremely courtious and understanding and offered us rain checks which was fine with us. I tend to believe that the confusion was on my part but this is a great course with a great staff and we always enjoy our play here. We ended up going over to Pueblo El Mirage and got on with relative ease. That course is in absolute great shape except for the greens. The greens are plush and green but holy cow are they terribly bumpy. I probably gained 10 strokes due to the lack of being manicured.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the slow group ahead. We appreciate your understanding and we'll address this issue to ensure a better experience in the future.
