This course is the best course I have played in the Destin area.. It is pricey, but discount tee times are available after 11:00 a.m. The fairways and the greens were immaculate. Pace of play, however, was not good. Round lasted close to 5 hours and would have been longer if marshall had not pushed a group in front of us along. We were constantly waiting to hit. Drink cart came around regularly , which was nice. It would been nicer if the cart had sandwiches in addition to snack foods and beverages. Overall, the golfing experience was extremely pleasant because the course and employees were so nice and I will play this course again.

Loved the course. Got a little unlucky with the weather......played 17 holes since skies opened up on the 18th tee. Will come up again. Food in the grill was good. We teed off at 12:30 on a Monday and the drink cart quit making rounds about 1 p.m. even though golfers were still very much on the course. It would have been nice for her to stay out there at least until 3. Booked the foursome on Golf Now and paid close to $10 booking fee. I'm used to getting discount fees by booking on Golf Now, but I could have gotten the same $59 rate by calling the course directly. Essentially, I paid $10 too much. Not happy about that. But, everything else was top notch.

While we strive for 5 star reviews we know that its not always possible to achieve that. With that being said we learn from each comment that we receive from our very important guest. Pace of Play is extremely important to us because we know our guest time is very valuable. We employ a full time Pace of Play staff to help facilitate golfers play in a timely fashion. We have learned through many experiences that not everyone can play at the proper pace no matter how hard they try. We use tactics like helping rake bunkers, tending flags, and explaining how to play ready golf and even giving golfers free golf balls so they don't spend time searching for errant golf shots. We certainly do our best to allow everyone to have a great time. I want to thank you for giving us such a great review and recognizing the great job Turf Care does with the conditions of the golf course. Staff friendliness to me is simply the most important aspect of a golf experience. We want each patron to feel like a member while they are here. Golf can be expensive and we want the hard earned money from our guest to go a long way here. We hope you return to play again. Head P.G.A. Golf Professional Ashton Crowe.
