Sewailo Golf Club
Played On 07/29/2022MATUERING NICELY
We have played Sewailo 2-3 times per year since it opened. The plant material was new and small with little shade, and there were several gotcha holes where the fairway/hazard configurations were hidden from view. The landscaping has grown well, some of the more penile holes have been made more playable, and the grounds maintenance has been good. The GPS equipped carts are a good amenity, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, the entire facility has matured very well, our entire foursome was very pleased with our experience, and we would definitely recommend Sewailo to other golfers.
Crooked Tree Golf Course
Played On 12/06/2021condition and value
The operator filled in almost all of the bunkers with grass as opposed to continuing with poorly maintained mostly dirt (not sand) bunkers. They are no longer considered hazards so you can ground your club. The grass is allowed to grow somewhat deep, and the edges are still raised, so they still provide some level of difficulty. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Crooked Tree was recently moved from Attractions and Tourism to the Parks & Recreation Dept., and this change has resulted in a much more presentable and stable facility. Still one of the best golf values in Tucson.

Crooked Tree Golf Course
Played On 12/16/2019GREEN grass
The reseed was very successful at Crooked Tree this year........the rain that followed helped a lot..........and the fairways and greens are in excellent condition. The staff is always friendly, and as usual, this course remains the best golf value in the Tucson metro area.
Crooked Tree Golf Course
Played On 07/29/2019value
Crooked Tree remains the best public play value in the Tucson area, and we have played all of them.......even through hot, dry weather the fairways and greens are kept in good condition.....staff is very helpful and friendly.......and the price is right........my only minor complaint is that they serve only beer and wine, no mixed drinks......
The Golf Club at Dove Mountain - Saguaro/Tortolita
Played On 06/12/2018Good value
The three courses at Dove Mountain are all very good, the on and off course views are terrific, and it is a pleasure to play here. There has been an extended period of drought in our area, and all of the golf courses are drying out, including this one. They have kept enough water on it to keep it acceptably playable, so it remains a very good value at this time.

The course is a decent test, always in good condition, staff is friendly, and Crooked Tree remains the Best Bang for the Buck in town.
The Golf Club at Dove Mountain - Saguaro/Tortolita
Played On 07/25/2016Very reputable course at a very competitive price
The course is very scenic, very private, and challenging to play. The condition of the course however, is not up to Ritz Carlton standards. There are some thin areas and just plain bare spots on several of the fairways, one bunker has been taken over by a hive of bees, and two of the greens were playing host to hundreds of very small brown toads. It is a hot summer, and it appears that ownership simply does not have the income/budget to keep the course in good-to-excellent shape. The plus side to this is that the greens fee is a very reasonable $42, which includes a cart with gps and cold water, and range balls.
At this price, we ignore the bad spots by simply rolling our ball to a good spot, and enjoying a quality Nicklaus layout with terrific views. We have played it several times, and will continue to do so.
Hey "l3tsg0lf" we appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. We are glad to hear that you feel the greens fees are reasonable and will continue to come out! See you again soon!
Dell Urich at Randolph Golf Course
Played On 06/01/2015GOOD public course
We played Dell Urich for the first time........playing a core golf course with big mature (shady) trees in Tucson in June is a real treat........the course was in good condition, was an adequate challenge, and we will play it again.........probably try Randolph too.......the clubhouse was spacious, bright, clean, and the service was very good.
Quarry Pines Golf Club

the course is in good shape, and the back nine is as scary as ever
Crooked Tree Golf Course
Played On 12/1/2012best value in town
Crooked Tree is basically flat, but has plenty of character and challenge. The off-course views are terrific, and there is little off-course noise. Due to the operators water deal, the course is maintained in excellent condition. It is the best public course in town, and rivals many daily fee and resort courses for condition.
Thanks so much for the great review. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing Crooked Tree Golf Course.
