The course is a solid track that offers a test from every tee box. Keep it on the fairways because the rough gobbles up strokes. The greed read true and the speed is fair.

I grabbed a tee time on golf now so the price was good. The staff was friendly brought me a cart right away and pointed me in the right direction. The pro and starter were great they got me out early and even got the snack bar open early. The course was in great shape green were fast and true. There was no real complaints the course was great. I will be playing there again.

This was my first time playing, I would like to start by saying the course was a little hard to find. When I pulled in to the the lot I had someone bringing a cart out to me right away, they loaded my bag and brought me to the club house. The staff gave me some local advise and suggested I buy the yardage book, thank god I did. This course is in great shape and is manageable from the tips if you hit your spots. The risk reward is there. Just make sure you consider the wind.

As a high handicap I was nervous playing the old course with do much history and blind tee shots. I played the front nine one day and the back the next. Where to start the resort itself is awaome so I had high expectations for the course and to be truthful the course stood up. The first hole is a par 5 long but reachable in two if u place your shot tight I did not. The fairways are narrow and the second cut thick. Never had an issue finding my ball. Most of the shots were blind tee shots. Greens were receptive but rolled true to the line I picked. On the back most of the greens were a good drive and a pitch away from a bird. I can not wait to come back.

Played this course 3 times over my week vacation in the outer banks. Th conditions we great, farways were in great conditn and the yardage makers we on point. All three day pins and tees were moved. On my first two rounds there was a cross wind or a head wind on every hole. To me the white tees played long enough because of the breeze. On the third round the winds were much more calmer so I played the blue tees and it served as a great time better looks at pins in my opinion. Greens were a little slow but read true if you find the right line. If I was to vacation in OBX again I would play this track but I would wait to book it on golf now a day or two before I play, prices were cheaper.

This course is great for Monmouth county residents with a county card, it is cheap and very walkable. If u are not a county resident I would!d segust a weekday round in the afternoon when prices are the lowest. The greens are always in good condition when I have played the are fair and firm.
