Arrrived 25 minutes before my tee time. Was told that I would be playing the back nine twice due to the front nine greens being punched that day. A little disappointed but not a deal breaker. Started on 10 by myself and had to catch the twosome ahead of me. The first green seemed OK but by the second hole I could see that the greens had a problem. There were two different kinds of grass growing on them and it was impossible to keep your putts online. The Rough was as long as the Open and the fairways had weeds growing so high that they looked terrible. Overall I would have rather stayed home.

Poplar Creek is a nice course with enough to challenge even the better golfer.

Course is in good condition with wide fairways and lots of sand traps. The greens are a lot slower than they look. Overall a good experience.
