Way over priced in comparison to nicer courses in Louisville. We’re slow play taking over 5 1/2 hours to play. asked for assistance with slow groups but no impact. Need course Marshall’s. Regardless course was beautiful but need classes in etiquette and ball mark repair as the greens wete pockmarked with marks. Doubt I will return.

I love playing this course. From arrival to departure always a first class operation. Course was in great shape. If you hit fairways you can score. If you get into rough, good luck finding your ball.

The course looks better than I have seen it. The greens were firm, fast and looked good. The fairways had some spots but the heat has been merciless. I played behind a very slow family of 4 for the last 5-6 holes but not the club’s fault.

I play My Old Kentucky Home 2-3 times each year and never a bad experience. Interesting layout and risk/reward opportunities at hole 13 and 17. If you keep ball in fairway you can score on this course. Looking forward to comin back

I love this course. Stay out of water and in the fairway and you can score. Challenging course but fair. The only issue was slow play. Had to wait on every hole on back nine.

I wish I could find time to play this course as I truly enjoy playing it. It is a good test of golf, but open enough for golfers of any ability to play. Play was slow today, but it was a perfect day for golf and the course was packed. Encourage anyone to give this beautiful and well kept course a try. Was a little surprised at the slow speed of the greens which took a few holes to adjust to, but overall was just a great day on the course.

Love this course. It rewards good shots and penalizes bad. If you don’t hit a high percentage of fairways, bring lots of balls. My only issue was I played on same day of club championship which included a five-some. Spent a lot of time waiting for groups to find lost balls. But overall a great golf experience.

Beautiful, scenic course I love this course and only wish I could play more. Great challenge with opportunities to score. Enjoy every hole but especially love the downhill 11th and the beautiful finishing hole. The only negative was a very slow foursome we played behind for 18 holes with no offer to let our twosome through. Would like to see course Marshall’s supporting pace of play.

The only thing I don;’t like about this course is that it is too far away to play more often. The course is beautiful and a Fair test of your golf skills. Keep the ball in the fairway if you want to score. Or be ready to dig out of the waist high grass. I love the challenge the course provides and the decisions it requires, including club choice off the tees. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are more than adequate. The only comment, not criticism, is you play 14 beautiful links-style holes, then 15 and 16 are more traditional American tree-lined holes, followed by 17 on top of a ridge, then you close back in links fashion with the beautiful closing hole. Can’t wait to get back and play again.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing the course. The course was in excellent condition and I got a great price online. If you keep the ball in the fairway you can score on this course, but many of the fairways are narrow and require an accurate tee shot. Good course layout and some interesting holes, like the par 5 12th hole with an elevated tee, down to a valley, then back up to an elevated green. The staff was friendly. The only negative. Was the lack of a driving range. Regardless, will definitely play the course again.

This is by far my favorite Louisville Area Golf Course. It is a beautiful course with a great layout. Greens and fairways are in beautiful condition. If you stay in the fairways, you can post a low score, if not, well . . . There are some unique holes like #6 with waterfall and my favorite #16 with the large elevation drop to a small green following a 200 yard first shot. The only issue I have is that without a picture of the holes on the scorecard, I twice hit to the wrong green, so be careful, e.g. #2.

I have seen negative comments about staff, but every time I play they are gracious and helpful.

If the course wasn’t; over 70 miles from my house, I would be a member.

You won’t find this course on any top 10 or must play list, but it is a great value and extremely fun course to play. The owners takes pride in his course and saw him several times during our round, once to chastise us for driving between two bunkers - and he was right to do so. It is a short drive from Lincoln or Springfield and is well worth the drive. If you love golf and want to see course stay viable - then get out and play this course.

The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. The greens, tees and fairways are beautiful. And the course layout is exceptional as always. Some great risk/reward opportunities. You just don’t expect a course of this quality in small town Kentucky!

This is my favorite KY public state park course. Great layout and beautiful course. I thoroughly enjoyed the round. It was reasonably difficult and I shot one of my best scores of the year on the course. This is a great value for the money.

One of my favorite courses anywhere. It is a beautiful course with plenty of water. I lost a few balls and played 7 strokes over my handicap, but loved it regardless. When I am in Destin, it is my must play course.
