very wet after all the rain. But course conditions weren't all because of rain. Greens were good but very little grass on fairways. Do not recommend.

Pace of play was so bad that we quit after 9 holes - which we NEVER do!
Course was in poor condition. Traps had not been raked in quite sometime. Also, they hardly had any sand in them.

Steele Canyon Golf Club - Canyon/Ranch
Played On 01/15/2015Pretty surroundings but difficult greens to read and even with the guide, we had difficulty hitting the ball where we needed to.
Might play again but not for awhile. Canyons course was tough. Did better on the 2nd 9 - Ranch.

Good layout
Found out that course had been over seeded AFTER I made my reservation!! Carts on cart paths only but real problem was that fairways had not been mown in 2 weeks. Will try again in a few months once the course is in good shape again.

I apologize greatly for this. All of our online tee times for the date range of 10/08/14-10/31/14 should have posted in the icons that tee times are during overseeding as well as cart path only. All of our reservations made over the phone, require the booking agents to click through a detailed script in order to properly explain to golfers the conditions of overseeding. Tomorrow will be our first day without Cart path only restrictions, and completed overseeding. Fairways grew in strong, are currently a little long, but will be spectacular by next Tuesday 11/04/14.
