Course is ok but was busy and slow. The conditions of the fairway & greens & tees was good but off the fairway and the green surrounds was poor, hard with little grass even for Bermuda grass. The course had many fallen leaves which made finding balls in the fairway difficult.

We made a tee time on-line for 10:48. There was an outing with a shotgun start out at 9 AM. The ranger was friendly but worthless. We waited on every shot. The course was in poor shape. The greens were OK but in spots there was disease. The traps were in horrible shape. They were full of water and had not been attended to for what appeared to be for years. We were told the course was under new management but I am not sure what if anything they have done to the course. My group will never return.

I received a gift card to play Valleybrook so I called and booked a time to play this AM. Well not a good decision for a few reasons. I poured rain for 2 hours so the course was very wet. I was not warned of the condition of the course when I booked the time. The course was aerated and sand covered the greens. What a mess. I play a lot of great golf courses and I realized that not every public course is equal but this course is a terrible design! Ron Jaworski has some nice courses that I have played but I will never return to Valleybrook even if I get to play for free. The beer and lunch afterward that we paid for was good and the staff very nice.
