The Hooch Golf Club
Played On 10/01/2018Not a bad course for the money
The course was a little soggy from the recent rain, and the greens were painfully slow. The traps had standing water, and were packed from the rain. The greens were in decent shape, but other players don't know how to repair their ball marks. Overall, this is a good course for the money - and it is rarely crowded on the weekdays.
The Hooch Golf Club
Played On 04/30/2018Nice little par-3 and par-4 course - very relaxing.
This was my first time playing the course. There are 11 par-3 holes and seven relatively short par-4 holes. This made for a very relaxing round. Most of the par-4 holes were around 300 yards long. The course isn't too hilly for the area, and the fairways and greens were in decent shape. On this day, the greens were extremely slow, and the ground was hard-packed. Once I adjusted to the slowness of the greens, I had a good round. Drinks were fairly cheap - a bottle of Coke was $2. They did not have a drink cart driving around on the course nor did they have a cooler on the cart. Stock up before you head out.
