I’ve been to this course 3 times in the past 6 months. It could be a great course but each time I’ve played it there were course maintenance issues. Today there were grass clippings left scatted here and there to some extent on most greens. Had to clear a path to putt on numerous greens. Mentioned it to the guys in the club but didn’t seem that interested. To be fair a lot of needed course maintenance and upgrades are in process, but that’s no reason to leave mower droppings all over the greens. Also pace of play was slow the entire round. Saw the ranger riding around but didn’t see him talk to anyone. I don’t think I will be back for a while until construction is done and indications maintenance is better.

Got stuck behind a ladies tournament (which they never mentioned). They were supposedly playing best ball, but for whatever reason the pace was so bad my foursome literally had to wait 10-15 mins on every tee box. When I asked a staff member about it he argued the over 2 1/2 hrs for the first nine was not a problem. I’ve heard others say pace can be an issue here. Nice course in a nice setting but just know going in the mgmt doesn’t really monitor or manage the pace of play like a well managed course would

Hot day nevertheless had an enjoyable round. Course was in good condition overall, but soft greens damage easily so more divot damage than you’d like to see on them. Good course though and recommend.

Nice course for the price point. Not the ritz but a solid public course. Course it self was in decent shape, but the cart paths were falling apart. They need to set some money aside for that. Otherwise enjoyable round and would go back.

Nice course and wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday morning. It had rained the night before and they wouldn’t allow carts to get off the path. I would liked to have walked but they wouldn’t allow walking because it’s “too slow”. Normally that might be the case, but if you have to walk back and forth to the cart after every swing, then not so much. It’s actually slower than walking. They had also sanded the greens which seemed late in the season for that and made for bumpy putting. I dinged the course conditions for that. All in all a nice course and other than sandy greens in good condition. would play again. Just pointing out the cons for this day.

Nice course. Bad weather, off and on showers heavy at times. Played through it. I enjoyed the course and played long enough, without being too long. Look forward to going back on a better day

My primary complaint would be the condition of the course. Just rough all the way around. Greens had a good bit of poa which made greens bumpy and the Bermuda still not fully in from winter dormancy. Pot holes and mud puddles present frequently throughout the course. Almost broke my ankle in one. Grass pretty spotty on tee boxes too. And the course had construction equipment working on several holes reconstructing tee boxes and fairways. The course should focus on improving the condition of existing facilities before redesigning

Course was in great shape for this time of year. Started slow with a wait on the first few holes, nevertheless picked up and finished in about 4 hours. My only complaint is no push carts available for walking. I like to walk the walkable courses for the exercise, and this course is definitely walkable. It would not have taken any longer

Had a good round, not too busy on a late season Monday, so no pressure to rush. Course was in good shape for late season. Temp was 58, windy at times. I walked and got a good workout.

We had to wait on the group ahead of us on the first 3-4 tees, after which they finally got out of our way, which put us 10-12 minutes behind. Then at the 8th hole a lady ranger got on us about our pace. She hassled us again on #11 at which time I explained we were only behind because the group ahead held us up initially. She retorted that the group behind us was waiting so we must be slow. We finished the round in 4:15, which is perfectly acceptable. So apparently we were expected to rush through our round and make up the time the group ahead of us lost. It was irritating and affected our game after the 2nd time she approached us. I’m all for keeping a reasonable pace but having to rush unreasonably detracts significantly. I may go back but if the experience is similar then will be the last time. My perception is the lady didn’t really know her job.

2nd time playing this course. Course was in great shape overall, although the greens weren’t completely recovered from aeration a couple weeks prior. Weather was fantastic. Only complaint is the pace was very slow, had to wait on practically every tee box. Nevertheless an enjoyable round.

Nice course and condition was very good. Good value for the quality of the course. Only complaints are A) it’s fairly long and played slow both days. B) The beverage cart was rarely seen. Played two days back to back and saw the cart once each day.

First time at Meadows. Moderate difficulty, not the toughest I’ve played in Denver. But overall nice course in good condition and nice scenery. The 12th hole was long 550 yds, and very challenging. Pace of play was nice, didn’t feel busy or rushed. Enjoyable round
