Still early in the year but Prarie View is a awesome place to play.. Fast greens... just a great course open to the public...

Had a idea course would have fewer players cause of holiday. We were right. Still early in season for course to be in its best shape but our first time out this year too. Plus it showed... Love PrairieView golf course and we played for 33$ on a a Sunday.

Ya gotta love this course.. Greens were so quick and true also... Wish this course was where I'm from. Aldeen golf course in Rockford Illinois isn't even a close second....Staff very nice also

What beautiful golf course. More open than I thought it would be . Some hole require a iron off the tee unless you have the capability to bomb a drive into narrow landing areas. Just a great course. What a layout! Everything was in top notch shape. Love to play again..Worth the trip. Nice to see how the other half lives.. Staff were very friendly and the golf carts were like driving a Caddillac.

Course is very good shape..Greens are a good as any in town of Rockford Illinois.. Don't miss the trees that were taken down by storms or ash bugs.. Course looks better without em.. We have had alot of rain in the area so there were a few wet spots. Only draw back is alot of grass clippings in the ruffs.. Still a great muny!!

I don't get why Sandy Hollow or the Rockford park district is doing making only 2-4 players can sign up on Golf Now tee times. They are ''walking only'' times for crying out loud.. Most of my friends work so I am a single most of the time.. WHAT A JOKE

Its still more than layable but iit has a rot sitiuation going on from tee to green on almost every hole.. The course has been attacked is the best way to put it. Even some of the greens have bare patches . That's new toi me.. The brown patches reminded me of the recent British open..The greens were putting preety decent, nice roll and all.. Still had a blast playing, being paired with 3 people for the first time. All good Joe's.

Sandy Hollow is a public jem. In great shape right now. Greens are rolling great too. Play this coures, you won't be dissapointed!

Ledges is just flat out a beautiful course. It was in great shape even after taking all that rain like 10 days prior. Joined 2 other guys from Rockford that had pretty good games and we were really lucky no one was on the back after our front nine finished. Greens were rolling so nice for being so soft. Course overall was in great shape..

Elliot golf course is a great public course.. Greens get alot of play but still the ball runs pretty true.. Hey you others, fix ur ball marks abd rake the traps or go to some other city...

Sandy Hollow was in excellent shape especially after going thru another downpour 2 days prior. They also left the pin placements from the previous first round play of the city tournament. First time I walked 18 in a while. Losing all the trees to ash borer actually has made this course look like a new place to play.

Whata great course. Best in the area . Had a 145 tee time but got off early. Beautiful course, fantastic weather. Great day in all..

The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. The greens are the best in the area at this time. In my past rounds they were decent but a little on the bumpy side . Today they were firm and like a pool table, and consistant from one green to the next. Fairways were also in great shape considering we have not had much raing for growing. The bad, is still the sand traps,, no sand traps should have rocks in them, especially ones that are sometimes 2 inchs or bigger..

Love Aldeen,, great deal thru Golf Now... Course was in great condition considering we really haven't had any real growing weather yet.. The bad is that there are no divot repair seed bottles that have any seed in them.. Also to many knuckle heads that think it is beneath them to rake the trap after getting out of one. Stay home Knuckle heads!!!
