Panorama Golf Club - Rolling Hills Course
Played On 03/31/2017Don't overlook this one!
A gem of a course, tucked away in a small community near Conroe. Friendly staff, friendly patrons, beautiful weather -- what's not to like?
Chapel Hill Golf Course
Played On 06/07/2016Well worth the drive!
Beautiful & challenging course, friendly staff. It doesn't get any better!
Eagle's Pointe Golf Club
Played On 01/13/2016Disappointing
Sadly, Eagle's Pointe does not live up to its advertising. The course (mid January) is soggy enough that the groundskeepers can't mow or maintain. It is a pretty area, houses are not real close to the fairways, but the "waste" areas are not friendly at all to errant shots (like most of mine). As I mentioned, though it hasn't rained in several days, much of the course is soggy, to the point where golfers sink into the fairway on some holes.
The Legends Golf Course at Parris Island
Played On 01/12/2016Beautiful course; outstanding value.
The Legends at Parris Island lives up to its billing! Beautiful course, well kept, friendly staff. Something for everyone. Challenging and breathtaking at the same time. Will definitely be back!
Thank you for your wonderful review. We appreciate the time you took to post your comments and I'm happy to hear that you'll be back!.
Indigo Creek Golf Club
Played On 10/23/2015Nice course, too crowded
Started on the back nine, great pace. Back nine in great shape. Front nine was another story - many soggy holes, massive 'traffic backup': at one point, 4 groups were on the same hole. Very frustrating to shoot, then wait almost 10 minutes before it's safe to take next shot. (Sure didn't help our scores, or attitude.) Solve the traffic problem & this is a wonderful course... as is, not-so-much.
beautiful, but still pretty soggy
The course has been well cared for, but most of it had pools or standing water, a week after the hurricane rains. It's designed to have water on all but #2... but there was quite a bit the designer didn't put there. It was like they had overwatered for several days running. That said, it's a beautiful place, with heavy penalties for not staying in the fairway, but worth the Golf Now price.
Conway Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/20/2015nice place
This is a small but nicely-kept course. Twice around for 18 holes. The multiple tees (for both 'front' and 'back' rounds) are a little confusing, unless you just say 'the heck with it' and enjoy the time like we did. Not a busy course, nice people, and what's to complain about weather-wise in MB?
Sunday River Golf Club
Played On 08/23/2015There's a reason this is "#1 in Maine"
Outstanding course; exceptional use of natural terrain. Breathtaking vistas, beautiful course. Great facility.
Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club
Played On 01/29/2015Nice course
Friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Not crowded, but busy on a weekday afternoon. Beautiful views, challenging layout (where else are there two Par-6's for the ladies?). An enjoyable afternoon!
Kissimmee Bay Country Club
Played On 01/27/2015We'll be back!
Beautiful course, well cared-for. The staff are friendly & helpful, other golfers "Just like you'd hope they would be"... all in all, a memorable experience.
Miramar Memorial Golf Course
Played On 05/30/2014Memorial indeed
It's a great course, fun for both novices and experienced golfers. Staff is friendly, there-but-not-in-the-way, keeping after this beautiful facility. Greens are pristine.
The Estate Club
Played On 05/05/2014Don't miss this one
The Estate Club is hidden away, but worth the trip. Exceptionally friendly staff; great value on food & drinks. Course is in good shape & dried quickly after morning showers. They also have a great ($25 annual) "membership" option for those of us over 50, which gets you reduced rates all year long, including weekends.
We'll be back.
Saint Albans Golf Club
Played On 9/25/2013We'll be back!
This is a gem of a course, not far off the beaten path. Amazing, but we found a group ahead of us that plays slower than we do, accounting for the slow pace yesterday. (Didn't think that was possible.)
Course is exceptionally well-kept, and has enough elevation changes and water to challenge most people.
We WILL play it again... :-)
Prairie Falls Golf Club
Played On 7/29/2013a gem
We played Prairie Falls Golf Club on a Monday - although there were lots of cars in the parking lot, it didn't seem "crowded" at all, thanks to the superb course management by the staff. Every person I saw come in was warmly greeted, and treated like an honored guest. The course itself is exceptionally well-maintained [effectively removing our usual 'excuses' ;-( ] and it is fun to play.
Homestead Springs Golf Course
Played On 5/29/2013Beautiful course, friendly staff
The course is very well kept, and the staff quite friendly. It's easily accessed, and seems to be quite popular. Much better than a day sitting in front of a computer!!
Woodland Golf Club
Played On 5/17/2013Beautiful course, well worth the drive
Tucked in the midst of working farms, Woodland is a beautifully-maintained course: tournament-ready. Tree maintenance is ongoing, done in such a way that play is not affected at all. We'll be back.
Raccoon Valley Golf Course
Played On 5/6/2013Good golf for the money, friendly team.
Prior reviewers have commented accurately on the level of course maintenance. But it's still a fun course to play, a friendly place especially to take a new golfer. It's not Pebble Beach, but you'd not get on there for $12 (w/Cart). Blue skies, green grass, and it doesn't look at all like an office!
Irish Hills Golf Course
Played On 9/1/2012Often overlooked
Another pretty, we'll-kept secret in Central Ohio!
Marysville Golf Club
Played On 8/25/2012Hidden gem
Marysville. GC is a beautifully-maintained course. Friendly staff, great views. Something for everyone!
tracypa - We are sorry that we did not exceed your expectations this time. We have experienced a lot of rain but have been keeping up with maintaining the course. We hope you will give us another chance.
