I had not been to Toft for some time because I mistakenly thought the course was closed. It is not closed and the stories online are misleading.
We received a very warm welcome on arrival from the course professional when we checked in. I have played the course a few times over the years and I must say it is in as good a condition as I have seen. Greens and fairways all in excellent condition. Though the course was busy the pace of play was very good. We were just a two ball but even so had minimal waiting times on the tee and completed the round in 3.5 hours. Definitely will go again.

Booked the course last minute and it was a great choice
The course is in excellent condition and it is a really good course to play, not too easy but not impossible. Some lovely holes, very challenging.
There were a fair number of people on the course but we still completed it in under four hours.
Recommend the course highly.

Arrived at the course on time for our tee off, really easy check in process and we were off an playing in 10 mintes. For a Bank Holiday the pace of play was excellent, other golfers on the course were all well behaved and polite. Great day out.

We started off as a 4 ball but play was so slow we split into two 2 balls, thereafter the speed of play picked up. As there the course was fairly empty we wondered why they put us in a 4-ball in the first place - perhaps because we were on a low cost deal? Did not come away thinking how friendly the staff were.
One saving grace - the course itself is very good.

We had an excellent day's golf, starting with friendly staff at check in and continuing with a golf course that has greens and fairways in excellent condition. There is a fair amount of water but not intimidating if shots are played with a bit of caution. Some fairways are tight and require managed shots, otherwise you will lose a few balls!
The golfing experience was enhanced by the variety of wildlife that we saw on the course. Overall a great experience and one of the best courses we have played.

the course was a little wet after some heavy rain the day before but overall the fairways and the greens were in very good condition. The pace of play was very good with minimal waits on the tee.
The alligator on the 15th green held us up for a few minutes but it decided to wander back into the water to allow play to continue!
Great course in good condition.

We started our 18 holes on the 10th green and first impressions were not great, poor fairways and the first couple of greens were poor. From the 12th hole onwards the fairways and the greens seemed to improve. Not many players on the course which allowed us to get around at a reasonable pace. I would play again if the price was right.

The day's golfing was a good experience overall, course generally in good condition with friendly, helpful staff. Only negative was the greens, they had just been aeriated and sanded and did not play to their best.
