Tuckaway Golf Course
Played On 03/29/2021Windy and Early Season
The price was great but cart path only for the carts is a waste. I would not have gone if I knew that it was path only. 40mph winds made the course more challenging and frustrating too. The course was not in bad shape for early season and my twosome would have been finished in about 2.5 hrs. until a very slow threesome on the last 4 holes turned it into a 3 hour round.
Heritage Bluffs Public Golf Club
Played On 07/30/2020Challenging and Quick
We had an excellent weather, morning round, that was under 4 hours. The course played long (from black) and pretty narrow fairways made it quite challenging. If you couldn't hit your ball straight you struggled mightily. There is not a lot of water and intimidating traps but I highly recommend playing if you want to challenge your golf game.
Ravisloe Country Club
Played On 06/17/2019Challanging Course
The course makes you pay if you are not on the fairway with many thick trees. A few of the holes have a fairly narrow fairway but not overwhelming. Their are sand traps at every green and off many of the fairways to challenge shots.
Prairie Bluff Public Golf Club
Played On 07/13/2018Wide Fairways
The course has very wide fairways but if you hit a really bad shot into the rough it is challenging to find the ball and hit it out.
Woodruff Golf Course
Played On 06/11/2018Slow and Elderly
The course was not challenging and very short. There were many senior citizen men playing which this course is perfect for.
Sanctuary Golf Club
Played On 07/01/2015Senior Round
Was paired with 2 senior citizens and seeing this was our first time out this summer decided to play from the white tees with them. This made the round much easier as it took most of the fairway hazards out of play.
Broken Arrow Golf Club - South/East
Played On 07/09/2014Great Weather
Weather was perfect so the course was crowded. Played as a twosome on South and East courses in a little under 4.5 hrs. Liked that the rough off the fairway was a little longer and thicker than most courses I play for $25-$35 early bird specials in southland area.
Old Oak Country Club
Played On 5/19/2013Greens were manicured to perfection
First time ever playing old oak and I really want to go back and play it again. It is the best manicured course I have played in the south suburbs. I Read about how staff is a little uptight and only the starter was rude, everyone else was very pleasant. Very challenging course with fairly small greens and protected well by trees and traps. The greens had a very true roll without the putts bouncing like all the other courses I have played in the south suburbs. One small piece of advice on this course is to hit the ball straight, or it will be a long round and about half a dozen golf balls.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We're sorry to learn you did not enjoy your experience as much as expected due to the cart path rule on your day of play. We hope you'll give us another shot soon.
