Lockwood Folly Country Club
Played On 03/03/2022Indigo Creek Golf Club
Played On 02/20/2022Great Value
greens were firm and fast and consistent; fairways were avg. with many tight lies; this course has good bones and when the new management completes their fairway re-seeding this course's rating will go up alot; course layout + price= great value
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Indigo Creek Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Whispering Pines Golf Course
Played On 02/19/2022Play it every year
During my winter stay I always play a round here (this winter I've played it 3 times); the course layout and the price equals good value.
Pine Barrens at World Woods Golf Club
Played On 02/11/2016Thinking Man's Course
green fees ran from $60-$80; I booked on-line as a singleton for $45; I'm 65 yrs old with an 11 hdcp and shot an 85 from the white tees (5800 yds). waste bunkers define the shape of most holes; a good number of holes require strategy of the tee shots to position you best for your approach shots; greens have character and were fast but the slopes and speeds were not severe. good practice facilities; basic clubhouse. definitely worth playing!
West at Malone Golf Club
Played On 09/16/2015Must Play Course
best course and facilities in the North Country; two fine 18 hole courses (East & West with the East getting a slight nod over the West)); fast undulating greens; a thinking golfer's course; well-maintained; multiple tee selections allow the golfer to match their skill-level to the course; two-thumbs up!
St. Lawrence University Golf & Country Club
Played On 09/14/2015Top Tier In The North Country
mature tree lined course that offers a variety of shot-making; number 13 offers a fine view of the university and number 14 is a classic redan design hole; condition of tees ,greens and fairways is good; bunkers are well placed (although some are in need of additional sand); many rate this course the second best in the North Country and best in St. Lawrence County; this village has another good 18 hole course called Partridge Run and Best Western has food and lodging adjacent to St. Law. Univ. Course.
Partridge Run Golf & Country Club
Played On 09/11/2015Good Local Course
there are two courses in this village and they are both worth playing; this course offers many fine shot-making decisions- if your tees shots are on for the day- a good score is possible but getting to the greens is only half the challenge here as many greens are gently undulating to also provide putting challenges.
Carlowden Country Club
Played On 09/10/2015Worth The Drive
this course has a fine collection of memorable holes that require some good shot-making; course conditioning is average but the hole designs make it an enjoyable round.
Thousand Islands Country Club - The Old Course
Played On 09/09/2015OK if You Are In The Area
an average course; nothing sticks out as memorable; ok if you are in the area; a group of 12 of us drove 1.5 hrs to play this course for the first time and the consensus was that it was ok but similar or better courses are available to us closer to home.
The course is kept up really nice, but the club house is not. The dining room has a vacuum cleaner sitting in it and the step which are carpeted have not been vacuumed in months. There is only 1 bathroom for the ladies on the whole course. It is just ridiculous that there are no bathrooms on the course, hard to believe. I would not play that course again for that reason. Very disappointing.
Ives Hill Country Club
Played On 09/08/2015Good Area Course
this course is known for its fast greens and it lived up to its reputation
