Challenging yet well maintained course w/ some cons

Course is very fun. Undulation even on the fairway will throw you off. Staff were friendly and things went smooth but I have a few complaints.
1. Cart sharing.
- I was paired with another guy. The guy at the tee box told me we would have to share the cart if we were to play together. I paid a lot of money to play that course and it's not acceptable that they mandate cart sharing with a stranger. No where in my region (LA) do that. What if the guy had asymptomatic COVID? What if the guy was not pleasant to ride with? It's not like they were short of carts. We were the first tee time of the day and there were tons of available cart. It is simply not acceptable. I didn't want to make a scene so I obliged and the guy was decent so things were fine in the end but it was unacceptable for me.
2. Green speed
- Extremely slow. It was same in another course I played the day before. Maybe it's Palm spring. But it was very hard to predict the speed of the green throughout the entire round as the ball even braked on downslopes.

Short but enjoyable and excellent crowd

I usually prefer long and grueling courses as I enjoy my driving and wood plays. This one's fairly short at the longest tee only being 5000 yards. But both times I visited here, I just loved the crowd. I just hate those trashy people cursing, spitting, loud and obnoxious and they are almost everywhere. People here are mannered, mild and know common courtesy.
Course wise, again, it's short but fairly well maintained, not super crowded, even if it is, people here all seem to know how to keep the pace. It's pretty easy 67 par course. And today it rained a bit which was just mesmerizing.

Poorly maintained course with poor crowd

I booked a single as I found some extra kill time. First of all parking is divided which is not a big deal. Signage was too poor to lead me to proper parking lot. Obviously the overflow parking is the only available parking as the parking lot in front of the office building is scarce to none. The driving range is ALLLL the way back of the parking lot. So you have to park, walk to the pro shop across the street, and cross the road again to walk all the way through the parking lot to get to the driving range. And the range's condition is horrible.
Then I was paired with 3 more guys. One claims he's soon to be pro am who owns a pot shop and who was high throughout the whole round. He's pretty good but not really good enough to be any sort of competitive player. He keeps throwing lots of cursing words during the entire 18 hole play. The other two were just loud and both were drunk during the whole round and one apparently wanted to befriend the pot guy as he owns a pot shop and they started smoking pot together. Horrible crowd.
And the course quality didn't really help. Green was like it has been bombed recently, rough was just ridiculously long grass and the whole course is intertwined with roads. The three guys were regulars there so I didn't really have trouble finding next hole but w/o them it would've been pretty difficult.
I would never go back there.

It's ok course and short.

Pretty short. I didn't bother to check the total score for the par play but it's 65-68. Lots of par 3s. Pretty easy. Hard to lose balls. I had 7 straight pars in back 9 which never happens to me. Well I hit better than the other times but still pretty easy.
66 dollars including cart is pretty expensive for the quality of course. Granted Sunday morning when things are more costly than usual.

Excellent course w money value.

Well maintained course w relatively flat terrain w wide fairway. Though i screwed up the game after not having played a while i think its pretty easy course to tackle. The gentleman who is local and a regular here claimed it is challenging course but its far easier than many that i played in.
It is quite cheaper than most in vegas and it was definitely worth the money.

Beautiful course with lots of challenges.

It's very well maintained. Not very crowded. They seem to put enough interval between tee times. Fairways are usually pretty generous but you don't see lots of rough areas. If it goes out of the fairway, there's a good chance you have lost your ball. So bring extra balls. It also has pockets of water ponds and streams here and there and take precautions.
being in the mountain, you sometimes have to deal with wind. Avoid playing the round when it's very windy because you are going to see your ball coming back to you from time to time.
Some holes force you to carry certain distance to land the ball safe. If you can't carry at least 210yards, you should probably play white in those holes.

Get ready to get mad losing balls LOL

Very challenging course with many if not all of them, undulating ground. If you miss hit the ball, especially off the tee, just take another ball out from your bag. Many steep valleys around fairways so poking around the rough trying to find the balls doesn't work here.
One thing I want to mention about the fairway other than that is that the fairways in many holes are so undulating and have quite severe elevation change that even with a great shot off the tee, sometimes I end up losing balls.
If you want to score better, you need to play safe. Personally I don't care much about score yet since I'm a bogey player at best. Usually score for me here has been around 95-100, mostly due to lost balls.
And in some holes, you are forced to carry a certain distance. If you are not a average hitter off the tee(200+), you will struggle there. Then you probably should play bronze (white) instead of silver(blue). Forget about gold (black).

Very short

You will have to know what you are getting into. This course is fairly short with lots of 3 par holes. that is why it is cheap. Otherwise it is ok. If you want to play a quick 18 holes, this might be a way to go. The course supervisor keeps driving around to make sure everybody keeps up. He bothered me once parking right next to me until I hit the tee. It might be a good practice so that nobody unfairly waits for too long but he could've stayed a bit behind so I don't get bothered. Otherwise course condition is fair and easy.
I didn't feel as if I had played 18 holes due to the shortness of the course just so you are aware of it.

Very difficult course

Wow I had heard it could be very frustrating before I went out but it was just very challenging. I'm a bogey player averaging 88-92 most of the times and I hit 98 losing a few balls into the valley... :(
Fairways are narrow and due to the curvature of mountains, the visibility was limited in many holes.
The grass is multifocal brown and all the greens were punched so I didn't enjoy it in that regard.
Once the greens heal, I will certainly come back to challenge this again.
Just take it easy on your swings, especially your drivers and long irons. If you are kind of person who hits as hard as possible, you'd better bring 10+ balls because you WILL lose plenty of balls if you're about same or worse handicappers than me.
