Dubsdread Golf Course
Played On 01/27/2023Great day at Dubsdread
I set up this course for the last day of a six day golf trip and wow what a gem. The staff inside the pro shop might be the most engaging I’ve ever experienced and the starter got us out promptly with some advice for newcomers. I am a fan of older courses with a lot of history and DD has it. The course was in great shape, especially the greens and all of the holes are unique. We played the blue tees and the course was a full test of my bag. We will definitely be back.
Magnolia/Dogwood at Brunswick Plantation & Golf Links
Played On 04/08/2022Very good conditions
We played this course last year and the only thing I could remember was that some of the bunkers were in horrible condition. I only hit into one yesterday but they looked a bit better than I remember . The fairways, greens and tee boxes were in great shape. The pace of play left a little to be desired but it was a really busy day in Myrtle at every course. I would definitely recommend this course. We played Dogwood-Azalea.
Magnolia/Dogwood at Brunswick Plantation & Golf Links
Played On 04/18/2021Very nice round
Played here with my wife yesterday. I’m a 12 handicap and she’s low 30’s and we both enjoyed the day. The tee boxes, fairways and the greens were in exceptional shape. The sand traps I ended up in (4-5) needed some sand and maintenance, as they were mostly hard pan or just a light amount of sand. There are some holes that water comes into play that you cannot see , but they are all marked with flags so they aren’t a surprise. We arrived about 30 minutes early and we were able to get right out. We played the Magnilua/Azalea, and played the front 9 in about 1:30 with nobody in front of us. We could see a three some in front of us that we could start to see around the 7th hole so we slowed our pace a little abs ended up waiting a bit from the 10th hole on. Wasn’t too bad other than the one guy plumb bobbing after his partners had left the green and then proceeded to 5 putt. Great day overall.

I was in town for a couple of days and found a great rate and really enjoyed a round here with my son. Front 9 is a bit more open and forgiving., You can score here if you keep the ball in play. Came close to a hole in one on the 200 yard par 3 on the front. We played in 3:40 and there were two threesomes ahead of us. Greens were in decent shape and held approach shots. I’ll play here again if back in town.
The Florida Club
Played On 12/30/2015Great Course/Great Staff
I played The Florida Club three times in one week. The staff really had it together and got me out quickly and efficiently. The course was wet in spots on the first round from some heavy rains the night before but dried up pretty nicely over the next couple of days. I really liked most of the holes on the back 9. Very interesting layout with a little terrain change. Will definitely be back when I visit this area. Great value and well worth it. I played very early (7ish) two of the three days and played pretty quickly as a single. One of the rounds I was paired with another single which was nice. When I finished all three rounds the course looked pretty busy. The one round I played a little later (9:30) in the am was around 4 hours. Not sure about pace of play later in the day.
Bryce Resort
Played On 04/27/2014Very Playable Course
This course is a bit of a hidden gem. For early in the season I thought the fairways and greens were in nice shape. Still some greening up to do but overall the course was very playable especially considering the area probably got an inch plus of rain a couple days before we played. Three or four holes were cart path only but fairways weren't soggy. The greens were a little slower than the course we played the day before but rolled pretty true. Many of the holes are pretty forgiving off the tee with the exception of 10 and 17 which are tighter.
