Three days after rain cart path only really slowed play (with constant threatening reminders from the on board GPS). Ie: play when dry.
Greens in really good shape. Fairways also ok away from the lateral water areas.
The clubhouse set up is first class.
The last two holes remain seriously hellish on the La Quinta course.

Course drains poorly. Give it at least 2 weeks after rain

Played the highlands Course. Fairly narrow fairways with a lot of angled stances for shots. The greens seem to have made it fairly well but the rest of the course is burned out. It remains a scenic place to play and some of the holes are remarkably difficult. The staff is great. The golf carts are amazing

Good conditions for February though some green work was in progress. Afternoon tee times not crowded but a lot of non foursomes that seemed flustered by the foursomes. Snack bar on 10 closed at 3 pm. Very small $6 practice ball bucket. Back to 2 to a cart.

Have now played the course from spring through the heat to our great fall weather. The greens are private club level. The fairways are done suffering the heat. The course layout, green contours etc make this little dandy tough enough but enjoyable.

Been playing the course over the last 2 years on and off. The most recent was the best. Perhaps helped by decent weather the greens are the best in two years. The rough can be sparse under the trees. The narrow layout has some shots from adjoining fairways where one must appreciate the golfers who are playing that hole. Little post round amenities but not needed in this COVID time. A bargain that has GPS on an phone app.

Great day for golf. Greens were in great shape. .Some water but very playable
