The course is a little off the beaten path but we find it well worth the drive to get there. The course was in great shape. It can be as challenging as you want distance wise and the greens are very challenging. The fairways are ample and I think the is why the course rating is pretty low from the middle tees and up. It’s ok because you can move back and play from up to 7,700 yards (we played from 6,500). There is a tee for all skill/distance levels. Most times pace of play is very good. You can tee off starting at 6 am. Highly recommend playing here if you’re in the area.

My son and I played on a Monday in the morning. I’ve been playing the course for 15+ years. First, the positives: the layout is challenging but playable if you play the correct tees for your skill level, the fairways are in good condition, range is included and very nice, staff is very attentive and professional, there are many areas that are just gone on this course but they are working on them so someday the work will pay off. A few tees were closed because they were recently sodded. There were two big negatives in my opinion. First were the greens, they are just not good. They are bumpy and extremely slow. Years ago the greens were the highlight of the course but they essentially lost them and they have not been the same since they were redone. Lastly, the price at $189 outrageous given the condition. While I don’t mind occasionally paying that much, I would expect immaculate conditions and this course just isn’t there. $100 given where it’s located seems more appropriate right now. Hoping one day it makes it back to where it was but for now we are probably going to look for better value..

Played here many times. I love the layout. It’s a links style course and can be a beast in the wind. The tees, fairways (a few under repair but no issue), and Greens are good. Greens are slowish which is ok as they are undulating and would be a nightmare if they were hard and fast. Only major issue is the bunkers They’ve completely abandoned maintaining the bunkers. We literally laid out of them as 90% of them are unplayable. To be fair, they installed way too many bunkers for a public course anyway. Many are grown over and should be converted to grass bunkers. Weekend green fees $41 with cart so good value.
