had to skip 2nd hole due to a 12 some (at least) of frisbee players yukking it up and making no effort to move on

played 4 and a half hours and left still on 15. greens were decent but pace of play from 4th hole on was horrid. called auto system and lady said she would notify staff to get marshall out there but we had little hope of that because only one person was working in entire proshop/dinning area.

west nine pretty playable with rough 2 to 21/2 inches. penal but you could find it. greens decent. mostly smooth with a few bumpy spots. fairways parched and thin. south nine goofy with rough 4 to 12 inches (i measured a couple spots). fairways ample but miss by a yard and tee a provisional. you won't find 1st ball. i was in middle of several fairways (and left side of one tee box) less than 160 to hole with no shot. trees blocking what looked like a fine tee shot from tee. left after 5 holes and 4 lost balls. just wasn't fun to try to hit from the fairway over trees to blocked greens. dye or hills would be proud.

course was in decent shape. greens were very slow but fairly true & not too bumpy. bunkers were dark gray looking but played consistent & were finer than they looked. enjoyable day on an older style course.

paid for 18 but left after 9. 2 1/2 hours and ten was still backed up. we all left and none of us wanted a rain check for the back nine. who wants to play there again. this is why I've gone from 2 - 3 rounds a week to just three a year when I travel. a miserable day on a course I have always liked. don't know what condition the back nine was in but the front was nice. no beverage. no rangers. just slow hacks.

wind was unusually brutal. weather was unseasonably cool. course was in good shape everywhere but not great. greens were decent moderate speed and just a few bumpy spots. paired my son and i with a local gentleman. had a great time.

left after 5 holes. people driving all over the course, cutting in front of you while you wait to hit, skipping holes foward and back, driving up to the green while you putt, no rangers on site, nobody in clubhouse gives a hoot about anything. paid $20 per to play... way overpriced. spend the money to go to a real course.
