Anaheim Hills Public Country Club
Played On 07/29/2019Good test
I liked everything except the bunkers...unfortunately I was the victim of several today, not one had any sand, just packed dirt of about 1/2 depth...horrendous conditions
Meadowlark Golf Course
Played On 06/24/2019Good day
1. Didn’t appreciate the bump in tee time without explanation or compensation. Moved from 9:07 to 9:37
2. Course had no knowledge except it showing in their system as my group being bumped.
3. I will be avoiding GolfNow bookings for the near future for the high fees and poor customer service
Royal Vista Golf Club
Played On 05/20/2019Fast, enjoyable round
East course was wide open, we played it in record time, hour and fifteen. North Course was fairly quick until we ran into a few groups. Conditions were excellent, tees, fairways and greens!

The course was in great condition, tees, fairways and greens were excellent! Very good pace and finished in about 4 hours ...
Destroyer at Seal Beach Navy Golf Course
Played On 03/07/2019Wet but playable
Course playing long due to saturated fairways. Still lots of puddles in fairways. Overall playable but a bit muddy and wet.
Hi Clay, Thank you for leaving us a 5-star rating. Please visit us again once the weather clears.
Westridge Golf Club
Played On 10/30/2018Good choice for challenge
Some parts of course were being upgraded or worked on but they didn’t interfere with play. Didn’t expect range to be closed for maintenance, it affected my groups play for while until we warmed up. Would have really like to hit some balls before playing.

I’d stay away from navy for a week or two, half the greens are temporary and they are working on fairways with the puncher.
Green River Golf Club
Played On 04/04/2018Needs some work
Although the greens were punched and sanded they were playable but the reminder of the course is a bit scruffy. Many cart paths are so torn up or damaged we had to ride in rough or avoid them altogether. Fairways were not consistent, my group felt the course was kindve going to seed...most bunkers were dirt only and wet & muddy. Tee boxes were fair but overall felt the course was not in great condition. Probably won’t be back for a while...
David L. Baker Memorial Golf
Played On 07/31/2016Short but challenging
A lot of golfers discount short courses, but they can be a great test and practice for what might be ailing your game. For all but maybe two par 4s you don't need driver, it allows you to hit either fairway woods or something shorter off the tee to you favorite short iron or wedge distance. It's great practice for approach shots and putting! I enjoyed it, especially the pace of play, got finished in just 3 hrs! Had the rest of the day to do other things! Thanks too to the starter for making sure we got out as my online reservation didn't get through to their system, that's why I save and printout tee time confirmations!
Los Lagos at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/18/2015slow, slow, legends in their own minds
played behind a foursome that overestimated their length both off the tees and approach shots. They waited for groups well past where anyone in the group could hit. They waited for greens to clear on par 5s and it was frustrating to wait for them to putt out. Even a group behind us, who came up on about 1/2 the holes commented on how slow the group was and in particular several members of that group, who were apparently regulars and had a reputation for being painfully slow and inconsiderate. Never saw a marshall or anyone out there pushing groups. I guess they really don't care about the pace of play. That is why I rarely play Costa Mesa. I think I'll continue to avoid that track in the future. 5 hours 15 minutes...
Renditions Golf Course
Played On 07/28/2015Major fun
I love coming to test my game against some world and U.S. Major holes. Especially Amen Corner! It's nice that most of the course is also setup for routing these holes without compromising their real layout. Greens need a little work though, but it may be the recent rains that keep them a little spotty and mushy.

Their are signs that the course is being worked on, but there were some greens that were close to being lost due to damage or virtually no grass left. Some tee boxes were pretty chewed up, need to move the tee areas more often to give them a break and heal. Virtually all the fairways and rough were great and very playable tee to green. That was much appreciated since I come from the western US where irrigation is now a premium due to the drought there. Bunkers were generally in good shape, some had new, white sand but many were packed and a few had some volunteer grass growing. Course supt needs to take more trips around the course to check on its condition.
Overall the course is a fun, playable track. I usually enjoy my rounds there!

I was curious to see what was done to the executive course over the last year, it's a far more interesting track now, even though it still has a large number of short par 3s. None of them are the same and none are pushovers, especially with new, firm greens. Still a short game challenge, but I think the price increase is bit excessive.
Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course
Played On 07/01/2015Ran home on week day
The course is being worked on, lots fairways have the large patchy areas resided, green are great condition. It would be nice if patrons would be reminded to repair their ball marks.
Still need Marshall to push slower groups, the foursome in front was not practicing ready golf on tee boxes, fairways and especially on greens. It turned out they were playing for money and it slowed the back nine to a crawl. It took an hour to play the last three holes.
On a busy day it usually is a slow start from hole 1-4 but then it opens up starting the 5th hole. Experienced many times over the years.
Not sure how you can rate the "pace of play" as good, when you state that it took you an hour to play 3 holes???
This is however very typical of this course....very slow!!!

Greens pretty good condition; tees and fairways need some work. A little burned, dry and browned out. Tees boxes need some love....a number of them were pretty patchy and very dried out.
A lot of dead trees on the course...

Course was / is in excellent condition. Lush fairway's and very good greens. Bunkers a little too wet...were a little cement like. Overall very good conditions.
North at Los Serranos Golf & Country Club
Played On 8/9/2013mixed conditions
I realize they are working on the course but there are a lot of areas that are not playable or have unplayable lies. Fairway's too patchy and inconsistent. Greens in pretty good shape but they shouldn't be charging full price for a course under such wide spread repair.
Lake Presidential Golf Club
Played On 7/26/2013lake prez fun
Fairway's a little soft and in some places mushy, back nine better drainage and easier to hit. Greens still a bit too firm, the composition seems inconsistent with softness of fairway's. I'd rather have firm fairway's and soft greens.
I'm looking to play this course this upcoming weekend and i was concerned about some of the recent comments. I noticed that you didn't have a comment on the course conditions like the other posters. What is your opinion on the health of the course? Worth it right now?
Coyote Hills Golf Course

Great condition but fairway's a lttlle too tight, could be about 1/2 inch longer. More sand in bunkers - bottomed out in a couple of greenside traps. Lots of unrepaired ball marks on greens, especially par 3s.
Bixby Village Golf Course

For a short course its actually a good iron test. Only a few holes are really safe straight ahead shots. Most of the tee shots to par 3s; short or long; require you to know where to land for good shot a the pin or good miss to have chance at par. The par 4s, surprisingly, although short by distance standards are a test of placement and planning on your second shot. Its possible to birdie them but you are required to put the ball in a place where you can go for the pin. Overall very fun course. Very popular with locals
