Course is in good shape -- greens are very slow, tee boxes are uneven, cart paths are a wreck and need serious improvement.

No cart path. No water to drink. Fairways are saturated. Tee boxes are very uneven. Marshals don't help to keep pace of play, but will harass you if you are a single. Looks a lot like an old field or cow pasture they tried to turn into a golf course. Club house is a choppy maze. Parking lot is atrocious.
Not a good value at all.

Reston National Golf Course

Alright at best but needs a lot of improvement to justify $90 range. Greens were bad--lumpy and extremely extremely slow. Fairways are green but need to be cut and sharper cut at rough edge, it just bleeds together. Bunkers are a little firm, they need a good raking each morning.

My other two players stopped for +10 min at the turn. The two groups behind me were waiting for us on #10. I hit and went to keep pace of play. Marshall found me on #13 and harassed me about not waiting for my other players.
Seems like they love a 330 yd hole...they have the same hole like 10 times...boring. The course seems to be a failed course that recently got a big cash flow to get it going again. Fairways are very wet. Tee boxes have significant slope...hooks for right handers!! Club house is a confusing maze.
Far better courses out there!!

Challenging layout. In good shape for the winter. Traps need some sand and a good raking. Greens are medium speed and roll smooth.

At $50 this is agood deal. Higher price not much. Little rainy to start so course was empty. Course was wet but handled water well. Good time!

Westchase Golf Club

Enjoyed my round. Challenging course. Greens were punched 2 weeks ago and you can still see the marks. They rolled well, but speed was not consistant from green to green. Some tee boxes were cut nice and tighter than most courses which help with the numerous iron tee shots. Most tee boxes were fairly flat and not tilted like many other courses. Most holes are 380ish...kinda boring after a while. Good value with a coupon or hot deal.

Greens were punched 2 weeks ago, but they rolled nice. Speed was inconsistent from green to green. Tees and fairways need to be cut they were too tall. Would go back for a good price.

Greens are slow to moderate. They rolled true and smooth, but lacked the roll-out. Nice layout and in good shape. Busy in the morning, but we played without much waiting. For the price I will probably add it to the rotation.
