St. Clair Parkway Golf Course
Played On 08/19/2021Underrated
One of the best conditioned public courses in the province.
St. Clair Parkway Golf Course
Played On 10/08/2020Great course
Course is always in excellent condition and has enough tee options to be a challenge for experienced golfers yet enjoyable for novices. Friendly staff both on and off the course. The only downside is the clubhouse which is very dated.
Riviera Country Club
Played On 02/07/2019Nice day
Riviera is a great course for a variety of abilities. Generous fairways and not long but greens can be a challenge depending on pin placements. Course was in very good shape for this time of year.
All and all a nice day out.
Cypress Head Golf Club
Played On 02/07/2019Good but...
Great course for all levels of ability. Generous fairways with risk/reward opportunities. Good variety of tees. Greens need work but seems to be a common issue this time of year. Drainage is a problem on a few holes. After all that said this course is a good value.
Sawmill Creek Golf Resort & Spa
Played On 5/6/2013Interseting variety of holes
Good links style layout (there is little or no shade during hot summer days, however). The greens here are always fast and smooth. The bunkers did not winter well and need work at this point in the year.
Note that there is a new chef who seems to have added some much needed quality to the clubhouse menu.
Great layout...fantastic views
Branson Creek never fails to impress. There are a great variety of holes, multiple tee boxes to suit all levels of ability, and friendly staff. It is typically in better condition than its neighbor, Murder Rock. However, it is too bad that the economy is such that a permanent club house has never been built. Have lunch next door at Murder Rock.
