Kokopelli Golf Course
Played On 05/24/2018I played this course often in the past & found the course to be in good condition; however, this recent experience in playing Kokopelli was a great DISAPPOINTMENT! The fairways, for the most part, were in terrible shape with many bare spots, plugs from aeration, & huge areas in the middle of some fairways that were bare & i guess being worked on. I now understand why the rate was so low and i would not recommend any of my friends to play this course!

Enjoyed playing this course. Hot Deal was a good bargain! Course very playable for avg. golfers but found some fairways were not in the best shape with several barren spots!

Course is in terrible shape! Fairways have many, many bare spots! Appears to require a lot of clean up along fairways. Don't know if course is under some sort of construction, but there are quite a few mounds of dirt! I played this course late last year after winter grass was planted & found course to be in good shape. It is nowhere near that level as it appears a LOT of the winter grass has become barren!

Course recently opened after reseeding & was cart path only. Was very surprised as fairways & greens were in excellent shape & course was beautiful! Pace of play was good although restricted to cart path only. I am a senior golfer & believe length of course is well suited for older players! Only negative was the rough is pretty deep & very difficult to hit out of!

Overall...course in good condition; however, several holes were restricted to cart path only! Not made aware of this when booking tee time! 4-6 holes restricted...no reason given other than signs stating cart path only! Also one hole had workers doing extensive work on the sand traps in front of the green. Made play on this hole unplayable due to machinery & carts of sand in front of green!

Only problem......very slow play with no marshal on course to encourage speedier play! The wait on each & every hole was extremely long!
