Clearbrook Golf Club
Played On 06/07/2019A friendly challenge
A fun golf course. I need all 14 clubs, a good sign for any course. Fast, smooth, well conditioned greens. Sand bunkers not up to the level of the rest of the course. A genuine bargain!

This 6000 yard course is very challenging and might require even more than the 14 club limit. Lots of elevation changes and forced carries. Plenty of water and sand bunkers. The course was in good shape however the sand traps need some work and the tee boxes some better mowing. Got paired up with three enjoyable people and had a wonderful time. The 450 foot trestle bridge is amazing.

Course visually beautiful. Unfortunately, we had to go around a honey golf foursome that had no idea about golf etiquette. Never saw a marshal and the beverage cart only once on a 90 degree day. Worst part, not a bit of sand in the many sand bunkers, just hard, gray mud. Very disappointing for a course associated with a world class hotel. This is high season in the desert, guys. Fix your course.
Hibiscus Golf Club
Played On 12/25/2017Nice little course. Pace of play slow. Perhaps the holiday had something to do with that. Used every club in the bag which to me means a good set up. Lots of ball marks on greens and unfilled divots. Played with two PGA club pros and that made a good round great.
Tough but very playable course. Fairways lined with beautiful and fairly dense shrubs and trees where losing a ball quite likely. These are marked as lateral hazards for good pace of play. Lots of water. Bring your game!

A nice, fair course. Everything is there to be seen. Nothing tricky. Bunkers are not good but told being redone later this year. Very friendly and helpful staff in the pro shop
