Where do they get off charging 32 for a Hot Deal?

It's a nice course. Very straight. TOUGH GREENS. Every green is elevated, only two par 5s. If you are going to pay 30+, go play Ute Creek and have a better time. If you want to play something like that try Sunset Golf Course, it's only 9 but you're not getting ripped off.

Beautiful Course

Outstanding course. Great creativity, tough shots, a lot of fun. Just played Eagle Vail and loved it. The 10th Hole is a BLAST! 18 is unreal. Seems like the only mountain course in the area that actually goes up into the mountains. Great, great course, is only 6500 yards but have plenty of chances to hit the driver.

LOVE THE STACK

What can you say about Haystack? It's the Northern-most course in the Boulder Area. It's beautiful out there. Great scenery, fun 9 hole. Your 2nd 9, if you choose to make the turn is only $5. You can play 18 holes for as low as $13 if you get a good deal. Staff is super friendly, solid driving range, and a good chipping green that most don't know about. These are the types of golf courses we have to support. The Stack is where it's at. Extremely laid back, great for a fun time. If you take golf too seriously stay away, you won't be happy and you'll ruin our good time. The only real issue is how difficult it is to keep the fairways and rough trimmed down. Right on the river, there's so much moisture in the air that everything grows like crazy. If you play earlier in the AM, you can find great conditions if it has just been cut.

Let It Fly

What a blast! I am a long hitter, consistently between 300-350, every yard was necessary. Played the Tips, so worth it. 8100 yards and a links-esque style. Great for a challenge. Awesome membership deals. A lot of fun. It's a must for good golfers.

A Great Time!

I absolutely love Eagle Trace. It's only 6600 yards but it's creative. The Front 9 is a bit more straightforward and you need to set yourself up with some really good drives. The Back 9 is a blast, some awesome holes, a few short Par 4s that are easily reachable for long hitters like me, 300-350 yards. You have to hit every club in the bag, greens have slope. You hit into a lake on the driving range which seems like fun but is totally unrealistic if they don't have the yardage buoys out on the range. It's a gimmick but it's a blast. The practice bunkers and chipping/putting area is nice though. Totally worth it, can find great deals.

Best in the Area

This is the best course around between Longmont and Westminster. It's long, it's challenging, it's fun. Beautiful environment, great creativity. They are trying to grow new grass on the greens and unfortunately it is not taking, the greens are in BAD shape. Very sandy and patchy, we didn't even use the putting green so we did not develop bad habits. Tough to shoot low right now, reminds me of how tough it was to putt on Chambers Bay. If they could fix the greens, would be here all the time. The staff sucks though, very uppity and snooty. Haven't ever had a good experience in the Pro Shop.

For the right price, it's worth it.

This is a fun course, but not very challenging. A lot of short Par 4s allow long hitters like myself some good chances at eagle. I consistently drive it 300-350. This is a very good course for all skill levels, but especially beginners. It's fairly short but kept in good shape. It's a bit of a drive from Boulder but not that bad. If you can get a deal, it's worth it.

Save Your Money

It's an ok 9 hole course. Not a lot of creativity, kind of fun. It's right next to Saddleback Golf Course. Pay the extra $10-$20 and play Saddleback, no reason to play Bella Rosa.
