I have played this course many times. Whenever my son comes to town for a visit , we like to try and play all 3 nines. The problem is they have a group of members that play their own bastardized version of golf and they want to get 18 hole in 3 hours. One of the people in this group is a very famous person ( I won’t mention his name , he didn’t make any comments as far as I know) they go out as a foursome but each on their own carts , each hitting as fast as they can go playing four solo rounds. They pick up early, they kick the ball to a better position. I was with just my son and we stayed just ahead of them thru 9 , we went straight to the 10th and as we are getting ready to hit our 2nd I hear screaming from the tee box to hurry up. As we come off the green he starts twirling his finger “ you are holding up the whole course” ( side note GPS in cart keeps time , we were more than an 1 HOUR ahead of pace) when We let them play through and 3 of them hit and we’re leaving on their carts before the 4th picked up his tee. I told them in the club house they are going to allow their membership run off there other customers. And they basically said sorry we know!
