Played On 07/12/2020Terrible pace of play
Booked online and was given the wrong start time. This course needs a marshal or maybe even Marshall’s. For 55$ a person I expected the course to be in better shape. Let’s start with the tee boxes in good shape, next fairways were decent but outside of that was terrible no second cut. Bunkers were garbage weeds and mud. Last the greens were great best part of the course. We left after just 9 holes that took my son and I 2 hours and 46 mins. Un real we will not return to this course I suggest staying away until things are taken more serious. Like letting hackers take 25 mins on a par 3.
PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain Course

A couple months back we played the dunes course and it was in excellent shape. Wish I could say the same about this course. Pace of play was awesome, I think every one is trying to beat the heat so that helps. As far as condition and cost those do not match up. The greens are terrible they need to be rolled, and are extremely choppy. Fairways are decent at best. I’m sure this course can be beautiful just don’t know when. Enjoyed all the scenes from each tee box. Course layout is fun and challenging. Keep your eyes posted for better reviews and you will enjoy this desert gem.
Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon - Champions Course

When ever the rate is cheaper, expect the pace of play to be a lot slower. It would be nice to have a Marshall to put some pressure on those who take 20+ mins per hole. Other than that staff is great and course is a great value.
