I was pleasantly surprised by this course. A traditional Donald Ross design with lots of history. Very fair but challenging enou. Greens were in good shape, fairways were good given it is still early in the season. We played in under 4 hours. Very enjoyable and relatively affordable.

1st round of the year. Played from the blue tees, around 6400 yards. Starter warned us it was really hard from those tees - I did not agree. It requires accuracy off the tee, and proper club selection was important...you could not just grab driver everyone and bomb away. Greens were in really good shape. All in all, a good course and a good experience.

Beautiful course. Paired up with another single and a twosome. Unfortunately the twosome refused to play tees appropriate to their skill level which slowed our round considerably and resulted in a visit from an extremely rude marshall. Disappointed that we only saw the cart girl one time during the round - expected better service from a high end course. Course was in great shape and presented the opportunity to play every club in my bag.
