I have played all the courses in the Gulf Shores area and this was the first time I had played Glenlakes. What a nice surprise. Bermuda fairways are plush and the greens are back in good shape after the aeration earlier this month. Don't hesitate to play there. Friendly staff.

The course is located in the middle of nowhere. I thought it had a great layout and was in good condition. I started as a single and joined up with a twosome at the turn. We were held up by several foursomes playing slower than normal. The course has no Marshal so you must be patient to play here. I paid the super special rate of $36 and thought it was a fair deal.

This is an excellent playing experience. The choice of multiple tee boxes makes this course fun for any skill level. I highly recommend this course!

This is the 5th time I've played Great Southern and I see improvement every time I play there. Yes, it needs work but you can tell the pro is trying to improve the overall condition of the course. I only paid $14 so I wasn't expecting Augusta. I got what I paid for.

Diamondhead has always been a favorite of mine. The new greenskeeper has done an excellent job of restoring both courses to their original state. Well worth the money!

WOW! The only word I can use to describe the hilly terrain of this course. I certainly didn't expect to see this much elevation change from tee to greens on a Florida course. We played the Falcon and the greens had just been aerated and sanded so I can't rate the greens. It you are reading this, play the Eagle until May 27th when those greens will be aerated. These courses are a great value for what you pay thru Golfnow.com. The bearded dude who checked us in was a little rude but the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Foxwood is another example of small membership golf courses in America that are dying a slow but painful death. This course has a great layout but needs major maintenance that the members can't afford(herbicides, fertilizer, etc). The staff is super friendly and the members accommodated our slow group by going around us when we held them up. Played with two beginners that lost probably 30 balls between the two of them. We only paid $10 to play so overall experience was good.

The greens had recently been verticut so it is difficult to give an assessment of them. The fairways and bunkers were in great shape. The pro shop employee was not very friendly but the rest of the staff were very friendly. I paid $42 on a hot deal which is a great deal for this course.

I paid $19 on a hot deal. The course is well maintained. The greens on the Lake course were a little rough. The greens on the Marsh course had just been aerated and sanded so I can't make an honest assessment of them. The views on the par 3 tee box along the bay are outstanding. This course is a great value at the hot deal price.

The course was in good shape. The fairways were plush but the greens were a little hairy. The greens would have been awesome if they were cut a little lower.

I played Abita Springs 4 years ago and it was a goat ranch! Yesterday I played there again for the first time and boy was I pleasently surprised. The greens have been redone and putted perfectly. The fairways have a lot more grass than they did in the past. I highly recommend this course for the price!
