If you are a golfer, this will be paradise.
Wow. What a spot. Every bit as good as the cliffs course in my opinion.
The course is fantastic. Truly unique layout in a gorgeous setting. The greens rolled true, but were extremely slow, which is always disappointing in my opinion.
The weather can change on a dime and is unpredictable, but almost part of the fun.
We were here for 3 rounds. The caddies are hit and miss, so dont expect a sure thing.
The course will play easy if its calm, but can play very challenging in wind. If it's dry it will also play short
Reynolds Lake Oconee - Great Waters

This was a very good golf course, in a beautiful place. Almost the whole back nine is on the lake.
The conditioning was also a 10.
That said, it is not a great golf course in my opinion that warrants a $260 USD green fee.
Harbor Club on Lake Oconee

Some great holes, some average holes. Overall, good value, but not as a strong as others in the area.
A good substitute for a day though if you're travelling in the area and want a dayvthats friendly on the wallet vs all the Reynolds courses that are 200+ USD at peak season.
Course was also in great shape.

Course is definetly worth playing. It is good value.
The conditioning was amazing. The layout seemed solid, but not magnificent. Scenery is underwhelming
Sidewinder at Gold Canyon Golf Resort

We played 36 this day on a golf trip. One round at Sidewinder, one round at Dinosaur Mountain.
Sidewinder was underwhelming relative to the other course. The layout was a bit gimmicky and short. Conditioning was great.
Overall, bad value in my opinion

Loved it!
This place is all about the golf. Some gorgeous and tough holes. The conditioning is immaculate. The views are great. Has a true desert golf feel.
Only knock in this place would be the drive and the price. Worth the splurge and 45 min drive in my opinion.
P.s. you'll be called out if you only tip the club cleaner $1 (it's all we had).

Conditioning is not what it used to be at this place.

Reynolds definitely has a price structure that encourages stay and plays over a la carte public play. With a big membership, that makes sense. There's a package right now that is $330 that gets you two days of unlimited golf and a night's stay.
