We played behind a group of six need I say more. When I said something the starter said they were members.

I was in for my sons college baseball tournament. I took some of the boys out on their off day. I wasn’t expecting a lot as I picked it on price. The course ended up fantastic.
I was really surprised and happy with our choice.

The course is always one of my favorites. Although we weren’t able to play the international because a qualifier tournament, the National course was in great shape. There was a ton of rain the week before and other than a few wet spots the course was awesome.

I have never had a bad experience here until today.
We booked the round on golf now and never saw the notes that greens were punched and only one 9 was open. The price was the same as always and there was no discount on the price due to conditions.
Very disappointed.

The course always satisfies. The best course in the area for the money.

Hadn’t played Renaissance in awhile. The greens were punched maybe a week prior to our visit but they still rolled nice. The staff was very friendly I added another person to our group but didn’t realize I had put them in for a wrong date. I called on our way as I pulled up my confirmation information. The person on the pro shop said don’t worry about it. We will fix it when you arrive. They made it very easy for us.
I forgot my new golf shoes in my other car. A member named Corky, heard our conversation and said here I my old golf shoes. Just return them to the counter and tell them they are mine. I saw him as I returned them, he asked how we played. I said very well but I lost money to my friend. He said “I hope you enjoyed it and return.”

I know I saw a negative comment from another about members not being friendly but the ones we ran into were more than just a little friendly. We play twice a week and I am a 5-10 handicap. I will return.

We played the saddlebrook course this time I believe they were letting some of the greens grow to let some spots heal up. It left some inconsistencies in the speeds from hole to hole but the course was in great shape overall.

All the courses are slow now but for the money we paid you would think the groups would be paired out more. We were able to watch the two groups in front of us play their rounds.

We had a 1:00p.m time. We didn’t get off until 1:30 because there were no carts available. Then we waited every hole. Just. A long day'”

This course takes over a hour to get to for me. I have always thought it was worth the trip as the course has always been one of my favorites. This time the price and trip were not worth it. The tee times were stacked and it made for very slow pace. We waited on every hole. The sand boxes looked like it was recently played in by kids during a school recess.
I must say this was the first time I have been disappointed playing here but I don’t know when I will make the long trip again.

I have never been disappointed playing this course. My group of friends play all over the Tampa Bay area. This course is always in great shape. The course got a little backed up at one time but a ranger came by and got things moving. We played in 3 hours and 45 minutes. Could have cut maybe 20 minutes off or so but that wasn’t really a concern. They take care of problems before they arise and I have always been pleased with this golf course.

We got a good price on a hot deal. The course is a little short for me. The back side opens up a bit and you can finally pull out the driver. The course is in fair condition. We played in 3 hours and 15 minutes. That made it more enjoyable

I love the pace and it is a great course. I have never got backed up on this course.

Always love this course. They space there times apart enough that we play a lot of rounds in 3 or 3/12 hours.

We play here when we get a deal. It is one of the nicer courses in the Lakeland area as it is well manacured. It has a great layout and probably the best two finishing holes in all the greater Tamp area.
