Course has a great layout but difficult. Great challenge and always count on windy conditions. Driving range is opened!!! They were grilling hotdods, recommend you try one. Played in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Had a father son duo which the dad had a great game, son a beginner. Son would hit a shot and if it went wide left or right, he would drop a ball by his dads. Never held us up and the son had a great time. Wished this happened more often. If you have not played this course, need to put it on your rotation.

Would have been nice if they stated the course was walking only. Love this course, layout, fairways and greens were in great shape. And the staff is the best. I have knee issues and both will require surgery later this year. I did play and walked and was posting my lowest round in 2 years with a 1 over heading into 16. My knees gave out and triple bogey the last holes. Again, why do any course that makes cart to walking NOT state that. Way toooo many courses in the DFW area that provides each individual player a cart.

Staff was great and I was able to tee off 30 minutes early with 2 other players. Could not have been paired with nicer guys. I wished I caught the name of the man behind the pro shop desk at 9:30 am to give him a shout out. Only reason my rating was 4 verses 5 is the course is still in winter conditions. Greens were fast and putted true. Layout is great, some tight driving holes and some fairways you can grip and rip. Will play again when the fairways start to green up.

For still winter conditions fairways were decent but the greens were great. Course layout is very fair with several difficult holes, especially the par fives. Played in 3 hours.

Really enjoy this course, play Frisco Lakes 5 to 7 timer per year. Only reason I gave only 4 stars on course conditions was, it is winter conditions and they had rain recently. The greens were excellent but many fairways were wet. Had a 90 degree rule enforced and still played in 4 hours 10 minutes. Great staff and although I am not sure of the health benefits, should try their hotdog. This course will remain on my rotation.

Great layout and staff!! Only reson course did not receive 5 stars, well its January. If you have not played this course, PUT it on your schedule. Cannot wait to play this layout in April.

Until driving range is opened cannot give it a 5 star. Nice greens and fairways. Staff is excellent. I am disappointed there are no sand on the carts. Several other courses have added sand to the carts. My biggest pet pev is people NOT putting sand on their divots. Guess it is way to difficult or complicated. When you have the chance, if there is a fairway divot near yours and it is not repaired, put some sand on it. It can take an unrepaired divot 7 to 12 days to start to repaire itself. A divot with sand....starts to repair itself in 24 hours.

I have played this course each week for the last 3 weeks. Staff here are great. Only reason not 5 stars is the drivimg range is closed. Recently punched and sanded the greens, putts still rolled true. Due to the virus no sand on the carts so I did have several drives landed in a divot/sign of the times. You can now sit inside to dine OR enjoy an adult beverage. if they can water the greens and fairways the course should fill in nicely. My longest round was today, packed course in addition to a tournament. still played in 3 hours 45 minutes. Not bad.

Third time I have olayed this course in 4 weeks. First time I have rated a couse this high during winter conditions. Love the staff, course layout and the fairways and greens are great. Wish the driving range was opened. Of the 3 times I have recently played this course, this was the longest round, weather was perfect and the course was full and we completed 18 holes in 3 hours and 40 minutes. my drive to play this 1 hour 10 minutes on average and will be paying again next week.

Course was recommended so I checked GolfNow and found a great deal. Staff was great. Fairways were in excellent condition and never found one unrepaired divot on a green. Great layout with several tight holes, several elevated greens and holes with wide fairways. Did I mention the fairways were the best I have played all winter. Only reason I did not give all 5 stars was the driving range was closed for obvious reasons. This course is now on my course rotation. Played in 3 hours 20 minutes.

Played in 3.5 hours. For this time of year the course is in good shape. Will play this course again.

Even with several of the holes underwater several days prior to my playing the course, Superintendent and his crew should be given a bonus for not only getting the course playable, but in excellent condition. Played 90 degrees which was understandable, played 4.5 hours but seemed much quicker. Cart Girl was awesome and always appeared when an adult beverage was required. Course has been closed for 2.5 years but has reopened. Building a new driving range so only a putting green is available. Although the course has lost 200 + trees due to a pipeline and an oak disease, it is a great layout with enough trees lining most holes that will get you into trouble. Watch out for water hazards you cannot see from the tee box. No cart girl but plenty of ice coolers on the course. Staff is excellent and the new golf shop/bar is really cool with at least 5 TV'S. Will definitely play this course again.

Played in 4.5 hours but it was a Saturday. Even with recent heat and lack of rain, greens were in great shape but a little slow. All but one fairway was also in great shape, with some rain and speeding up the greens it would be easy to add a star. Staff is always friendly and the cart girl always seemed to show up at the correct time. Only big issue especially in this heat, all water coolers were dry! No excuse for this.

Love the layout, not a long course, but makes you play long irons and 3 woods, verses pounding drivers. Greens were in good shape but a little slow. Due to a lack of rain and apparently issues with there irrigation the fairways are thin. Still, with gold now it was worth playing. once rains come, will definitely play this course again.

Love the layout of this course. Greens are coming back after being punched several weeks ago. Played for $25 via Golf Now. I highly recommend this course. There are many challenging holes that you are rewarded with a good tee shot. If you have not played Tangle Ridge, put this course in your rotation.

Course was in good shape with the exception of the greens. They were punched about a week ago and were difficult to putt. However, it is a Great course and layout. Greens will be back in a week or so. If you have not played this tract, you should!

Enjoy playing this course, nice layout where you can score. Fairways and greens are in good shape; however, many tee boxes are very uneven [ difficult to have a flat lie] and several are dirt. For the money still a nice tract.

Bunkers are horrible, every part 3 tee box was dirt, they allowed a 6 some ahead of our group. No Marshall, but the practice facilities were the worst I have seen in years. Sorry, this course should be closed until repairs can be made. At best, this is a $10.00 including cart per round course.
