Unfriendly Staff, doesn't match with high cost!

Staff make you wait until 20 minutes before your tee time to issue a cart. This matters because the range is a solid .25 mile walk from the course, and without the cart, it's not really worth it to go there and warm up with clubs in tote. Then, when I did get my cart, the group behind me was upset because we weren't already at the tee ready to go; this wasn't our fault. The starter had to come out and clear this up. Clearly the staff there have policies that don't make sense. The course has enough golf carts to accommodate everyone; the rule seems silly. Other than that, the entire facility is closed except for an outdoor snack shop. Putting green is closed, too. Seems weird since they are open elsewhere in Southern Cal! The course is fun, the layout is neat. The fairways are bone dry, and unforgiving. If you're a good ball striker, you'll love it. If you aren't - bring about a dozen balls. Green roll true. Not worth $170 to have a weird, rushed opening, and absolutely nothing else on premises. Play elsewhere 3+ times for the same cost, with much more to offer!

Worst Conditioned Course in City

There is no fairway. Only seeded low cut grass that has absolutely no softness. Good shots to fairway are not rewarded and instead penalized by hitting off of something that feels like a pool table. Greens are dirt with some grass sprinkled in, literally patchy grass and black dirt. Tee boxes are patchy grass covered in a layer of sand. On top of that, a worker ran over my ball with a lawnmower, chopping off the top of it. The ball was in the second cut, highly visible. This is not a course worth the convenience of its location, and certainly not worth $70+ for a round.
