It's okay, but could be better

First off, the driving range on this course kills me. I hate it. They have spots where you could use mats, and they really should just stick with that. I get liking to hit off the grass, but the grass in front of the stalls are so uneven it is maddening. I don't feel like I'm actually warming up my swing there.

The course itself is ok. Fairways are a little long, but the rough is a little short. Greens are astonishingly soft, and also a bit long. While it is so soft, some of the greens have huge chunks of grass missing. You really have to hit your putts with some pace to get them there. I like the layout of the holes and it really isn't that challenging of a course.

I got a hot deal on this website, otherwise, $33 is definitely too much for this course. I do enjoy playing this course though.

Hit and miss

No pun intended with the title. This course is kinda hit and miss. Some very nice spots. The back 9 is in much better condition, in my opinion than the front 9. Some cart path issues, mostly on the front, course mostly in good shape. Just some weird things throughout the course, though. Spots in fairways and even just in the first cut that are inconsistent and out of place .Random holes all over the place. Anything off the fairway, even slightly, and you might have no idea where your ball is even if it wasn't unreasonably far and wide. Greens were in good condition. Not a lot of people on the course today, I was essentially alone. The second half of the day that was because of the rainstorm, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of action. Friendly staff. No driving range here, which is strange to me. But it was a nice, generally relaxing round. I would go again, but I don't live in town.

Lone Tree Golf

I got a sweet price from the website, so it made going to this course, which can usually cost you upwards of 80 bucks with a cart, which I got to play for 15 bucks.

All in all, I was very disappointed with the course. It is supposed to be one of the nicest in Denver and the conditions were of the course were inexcusable. We've been having so many rain and thunderstorms, but you'd never know it playing these greens. You would think we lived in the middle of the desert. It was hard, fast, and absurd.

The course itself is very challenging, but again, there was a lot of ground not repaired and incredibly hard and dry fairways. I was very disappointed. But, again, for 15 bucks, couldn't be too unhappy.
