My wife and I have played a ton of courses and this hidden jewel was the first one that give a s senior woman a real distance break with the gold tees that were forward of the red tees. The track is great an it was just fun to play. It was also full of beauty and nature. We will absolutely play it again. If your looking for stress free golf in a friendly atmosphere, look no further. The course keeps you on your toes with many exciting fun shots. It is a good choice to play if you are about to travel and play new courses. The variety of challenges will prepare you nicely. The green were terrific and the staff superb. If there has to be a negative, I would say the fairways are a bit hard. This course has improved immensely since it was one of the county courses and is by far the best course today for what used to be the county courses which included the Habitat and Spessard Holland. Can't wait to go back!

This course has 3 major issues.
1. The homes are dangerously close to the field of play, a minor mishit could strike a home.
2. It is way overbooked, T times are every 7 minutes. We had a 2:15 time and had to quit after 14 holes due to darkness.
3. The hole locations are in impossible locations which prolongs play due to excessive putting. It is my opinion this is done to justify stretching the par to 60 which is ridiculous #10 from the whites is about a 170 yard par 4.

The course was unplayable after 30 minutes of rain, extremely poor drainage. The sand traps are like playing in mortar. If the course is not going to put sand in the traps and keep them groomed, then get rid of the traps. Some traps are full of pebbles and shells. But I do love the layout and the required shot making, which keeps me coming back. Play ii as a pick clean and place and you will enjoy it.
